Our friends King's Lynn Community Choir did themselves proud for their sold out Summer Concert, don’t take our word for it though, here’s a little of what the audience thought!
Fair to say a good time was had by all, while raising much needed funds for Kings Lynn Foodbank & Norfolk Blood Bikes ❤️
As is the tradition King's Lynn Minster ring in King's Lynn Festival fortnight, while we have some fine bell ringing here today to mark the last day 🔔
We were a bit busy & forgot to share this on Friday, enjoy!! 🔔🔔🔔
We’ve shared a few photos already so here’s a little bit of Supersonic Queen in action, they might well want it all but they certainly gave it their all too!!
Do remember folks this was recorded on a phone 😇
Such a great performance all round from The Sheringham Shantymen with the audience joining in for good measure on this one!
And of course The Sheringham Shantymen sounded just amazing in here but don’t just take our word for it!
What could be more magikally Mydwynter than this? Mediaeval Baebes dancing, singing & generally making merry!*
*there was a little lamenting too, just for balance 😉
Here’s a little snippet of the amazing Mediaeval Baebes who we were delighted to have here with us last night!
Please take our word for it when we say they sounded & looked so much better than our low tech recording, just listen to the audience at the end if you don’t believe us…
Their tour continues if you’ve not seen them yet or want to see them again, do check their page for details 😇
What a fabulously festive evening, a great performance & varied repertoire from King's Lynn Community Choir. It’s their first time here at the Chapel & we’re hoping they’ll be back in 2023!
The choir were also raising much needed funds for King's Lynn Night Shelter who do such amazing work here in our town ❤️
Here’s a little sneak peak of when King's Lynn Community Choir came along to be introduced to our Henry Willis organ & they will of course be making excellent use of it for their Christmas Concert, here on 9th Dec 🎶
Then in the middle of October we had the pleasure of welcoming Steeleye Span to the Chapel!
This snippet really doesn't do them justice but it's such a familiar & well loved song we just had to share it as a little reminder of their fabulous performance.
Brought to us again kind courtesy OEP Live 🎶
Did you know Maddy Prior & The Carnival Band released some fine versions of works by Vaughan Williams, who visited our very own North End to record the songs of the fishing community?
And here's a little peak at the ringers from the inside! 🔔
The Minster ring their bells at the beginning of King's Lynn Festival & now it's our turn to mark the last weekend with a fabulous Full Peal led by David C Brown of St Peter Mancroft, Norwich.
If you happen to be in King's Lynn you can probably hear us!
For those in the know it's a Cambridge Surprise Major 🔔🔔🔔
Sea Sunday bell ringing
We might have been up late last night with a Wedding Reception but there are certainly advantages to an early start! Bell ringing for the Sea Sunday service today 🔔🔔🔔
A Springwood Christmas Carol
Did someone say It's Christmaaaaaas!? ✨
A Springwood Christmas Carol in full swing tonight 🎶
A Springwood Christmas Carol - Scrann
A Springwood Christmas Carol, anything but ordinary!
Don't just take our word for it though, the audience were just as lively as the musicians!
Blazin' Fiddles 🎻 King's Lynn Festival 🎶
We've not had Blazin' Fiddles here with us at the chapel before, but we're awfully glad we can now say we have, thanks to our good friends King's Lynn Festival!
What a great night 🎶
Bells at St Nick's
Well hello sunny Sunday! 🔔
Here's a little something from the brilliant Springwood High School Christmas Concert last week 🎶
Greetings of the season to you and yours from all of us here at the Chapel ✨
Have a fabulously festive time whatever you are up to! 💕
