So I’ve gone and signed myself up for 3 wonderful challenges so far this year (there may be more to come later in the year, depending on dates) 💚💕

I’m taking part in the Bath 50k 31 Miles, The Norfolk Mighty Hike 26.2 miles and The London Moonwalk 26.2 Miles.

I’m raising money for 2 fabulous charities Macmillan 💚 and Breast Cancer 💕

At our recent Hemsby event I was lucky enough to hold a raffle and raised an amazing £800 to be divided between the 2 charities.

I was donated £40 within the £800 that both people specifically requested it went to Breast Cancer so what I have done is taken that £40 out of the £800, so £760, divided that by 2 so £380 and then shared that between the 2 charities.

So both Macmillan walks have £190 each making £380. Then the other £380 plus the £40 so £420, has gone to Breast Cancer.

It’s international women’s day! We have been lucky enough to have some of the most fabulous women grace our stage at our Merv & Maria events over the years.

Sometimes show business can be a tough industry for women, and as a women myself, if we can’t be there for each other and have each others backs at all times, who on earth can we rely on.

What an absolutely fabulous Merv & Maria Country & Irish Weekend we have just had with you all at, Hemsby Beach Holiday Park.

We absolutely loved every minute, it was so great to catch up with so many friends over the weekend.

A massive thank you to all the artists who performed over the weekend, you all put on such varied top class shows and all did yourselves and us very proud.

A special mention to the fabulous Ryan Turner Band, who literally worked their socks off over the weekend backing many of the artists. These boys really are first class at what they do and we love every minute of having them on our events.

A big thank you to Russell Kemp “Uncle Russell” who did such a great job on the sound all weekend, kept all the shows running smoothly for us and made sure all the acts were happy at all times.

Marc James who helped massively by entertaining everybody on the Friday afternoon whilst waiting for their keys. Marc also worked incredibly hard and kept the parties going well into the early hours in the late night bar.

Sara King our line dancing instructor who did a wonderful job teaching both mornings and allowing people to learn or build their confidence on the dance floor.

Fergus who made his way to Stansted and back each day collecting and delivering the Irish acts safely to and from the airport. He battled roadworks, diversions, traffic and still made sure they all arrived in time for their shows.

All the staff at Hemsby Beach, thank you all for your help throughout the weekend. You all went above and beyond especially on the Friday night and we thank you for everything you did.

Toni, Michael & Conor who help us out all weekend keeping an eye on wristbands and making sure thats its only all you wonderful people that have paid for the entertainment get to enjoy it.

A final big thank you to everybody who came to the event and danced, sang along, partied and joined in the fun throughout the entire weekend.

We had the most amazing weekend being with you all, there’s nothing better than seeing happy faces and knowing we have helped to create such wonderful times and memories for you all.

We thank you all for your continued support, here’s to the next one.

The fabulous Ryan Turner Band, we absolutely love these guys, we just love working with them.

The fun and the laughter these guys bring to the green room and stage is just never ending mischief.

We all know how good they are at their jobs, so professional, so relaxed and just a dream to work with for all of us and the artists.

Sunday Evening here at our Merv & Maria Country & Irish Weekend at Hemsby.

It’s the final night and it’s party night! We were first up on stage and opened the show, we had an absolute blast being with you all. We were also lucky enough to be joined by our little star Jessica to finish our set.

Next up, one of the very best bands on the scene, our resident band, the fabulous Ryan Turner Band.

These boys worked so hard all weekend backing lots of the artists, always professional, completely relaxed and an absolute dream to work with.

The final act of the weekend, another favourite at our events the wonderful Trevor Loughrey. Trevor never fails to deliver and tonight he closed the show with style.

The dancfloor was jumping, the band were in full swing and Trevor was bringing what’s been a wonderful event to a close.

Sunday Afternoon here at our Merv & Maria Country & Irish Weekend in Hemsby.

So good to have the Sean Wilson back with us after 5 years away from the scene. Sean has always been a favourite on our events and this time was no different. That gentle Irish voice is still as good as ever.

Then it was the turn of our very own Marc James. Marc had been working hard all weekend doing the late night bar and now it was his turn to take to the main stage. Marc put on a great show, we even managed to get in a naughty wiggle, wiggle, wiggle.

The final act of the afternoon, another firm favourite the velvet voice of Bill Conlon. Bill is such a gentleman and always does such a great show. A fabulous end to what’s been a great Sunday Afternoon.
