is a delicatessen and independent wine merchant in the heart of beautiful and historic Kings Langley. We're open everyday and serve a super range of deli foods and freshly home made (really!) dishes, including Tapas nights on Thursday & Fridays, and Brunch on Sundays. We bake our breads and patisserie every morning, and also have a selection of amazing cakes. We serve 2 different coffee blends mad

e exclusively for us and roasted fresh every couple of days. Our wine shop has over 275 unique and interesting wines from over 18 different countries and around 80 different beers and ales. We strive to find great wines that you won't find in big chains stores. We love to give advice on wines and are pretty good at finding you the right wine for whatever dinner or occasion. You can also sit in and enjoy a glass or bottle

Someone recently commented that it was impolite of me not getting back to all the lovely people who have applied for work at Dalling & Co …..and just wanted to explain the situation without appearing rude…..

1. I am NOT advertising for staff at the moment and do not have time to give feedback to unsolicited applications.
2. Summer is a quiet time for us I rarely need staff.
3. Priority is always given to staff who have been with us for a few years… starting when they were at school, working through the tough times, working through their exams, their break ups, their family issues etc etc learning valuable skills like initiative and resilience and the value of working as part of a team. These are the people I choose to cover holidays etc
4. Because of the above, when some team members leave to go to Uni I am always keen to give them what hours I can when they come back in their breaks.

When I do have vacancies I will advertise, giving clear criteria, and I will always reply to applicants who fit that criteria.

We all appreciate how difficult the new parking restrictions are in the local area but please be considerate and think of the bigger picture when you park in the local roads that have no restrictions, especially Common Lane. If we cannot get out we cannot help those that need us. 🚒🚒🚒
