We've worked hard to ensure there is no route sabotage on the course for the Wild Night Run, by tweaking the route while keeping it as close to the original as we possibly can, by negotiating with the landowner and have agreed to make a further donation to the air ambulance!

We have also doubled our marshals this year through the Explorer Scouts and their leaders. We've booked in live music, so it should be a great night. We just need you to enter! Without your entries, there will not be another Wild Night Run. I'm not being melodramatic, it's just how it is.

The Wild Night Run follows the old 19th century naptha lines above the Avon and on to the reservoir, which dams the river flowing from moor to sea (and past our home). It's contours become your challenge. Its story is yours. The moon will be waxing but you'll still need a head torch and your senses.

There'll be roots guitar with catering from Pizza Pirates and Bluebell Cafe at the Old School Community Centre in South Brent.

If you're a little scared of night running, opt for the Mild Night Run 5 miles, still tough but stays off Dartmoor.

As an elite level runner on all surfaces, and a former national junior cross country and English Schools champion, I have a lifetime experience in training specifics.
Winning the Dartmoor Fell Series (in my 50s) for the past two years, proves I know how to apply my experiences to increasing sports longevity.
I have a PE Sports Science Degree at Loughborough University.
In addition to this, I have a good grounding in most sports from an early age (including tennis-county junior champion, football-Wallsend Boys/Newcastle Boys and winner of the Tyneside Triathlon), has given me an excellent understanding of the human body and what it is capable of.
I excelled in other sports as an adult, with a ten year rugby career, playing semi professional rugby (Division One South, Division One North, Spanish Premiership and French Division 3).
I can offer bespoke PT sessions in your home, outdoors or in a gym.

Andy and Sanjay were over from the States for an environmental conference on wind energy. They asked for a guided run with some of the best views of Dartmoor, which they'd never seen. They got plenty of wind, which gusted 30 today, with sheet clag. Needless to say, they loved it!

It's our Dartmoor Fell, Trail Running and Yoga Camp on December 1st to 4th. The last Wild Running camp in Wales, got unanimous 5*s. Book it and learn tips from GB trail runner Jo Meek, movement maestro Joe Kelly and camp director Ceri Rees will offer insights on Dartmoor, as a guide and a runner plus one to one advice.

The Wild Night Run Series, kicks off with the Burrator Noir on November 18th, followed by the Night On The Edge on the Cornish/Devon Border on December 17th, Dark Skies Surrey Hills at Denbies Wine Estate on January 20th and the Wild Night Run on February 17th.
The Burrator Noir, Night On The Edge and Dark Skies all include kid's races. Canix races are included at NOTE and Dark Skies. Series Prizes with events 3 to score from 4.

Our next Devon based event is The Green Lantern around Exeter's Green Circle on August 5th and we're approaching 100 entries.
