Cabinet of Queeriosities

The Cabinet of Queeriosities were first assembled as a six-piece drag collective to perform at Pride in Hull 2019. They had no name, but they jumped on stage and lip synced the house down in Queens Gardens in front of 15,000 people. The founding members are Gloria Hole, Dixie Normous, Cyanide Homocide, Melony McSnatch, Celeste St.Clair and Tilly Sparks.

In December 2019, Pride in Hull joined forces with Jack Rabbit Slims and Fuel for two drag pageants, offering up a space in the now named Cabinet of Queeriosities for the winners of each. Mount Keenya, the collective’s first drag king, and Stacey Rhect, both won their spaces in the Cabinet of Queeriosities taking the number of acts to 8.

After long talks, in January 2020, Doncaster’s own drag family ZEHAUS chose to join the Cabinet of Queeriosities, adding members Bipolar Abdul, Donny Lad, Anna Phoria, Eboni Whyte and Naomi Carter to the roster, and taking the collective, Yorkshire’s premier extended drag family to 13 members.

The Cabinet of Queeriosities consists of 2 drag kings, and 11 drag queens, with varied styles of performance and dress. They represent the merging of drag styles, and the very best of what the region have to offer.
