Just received some beautiful photos from this recent wedding. The gorgeous bride has sent me over a review, so I'm just going to post that, as it's amazing and I can't thank her enough 🤍🤍

"Initially I wasn't sure what bridal bouquet I wanted but when attending my friend's wedding I was amazed with how beautiful hers looked so asked where she'd got them from. I booked an appointment with Katie right away - here Katie showed me examples and ideas which really helped me vision what I wanted my bouquet to look like.

Throughout the whole process Katie was in regular contact and updated me regarding my bouquet. I fell in love instantly with my bouquet and she captured exactly what I wanted. I have had so many compliments and I am so happy I get to keep them and admire them on a daily basis.

Katie even delivered my bouquet and other items I hired and then picked them up after the wedding. Katie has provided the best service and is a very talented and professional lady.

As well as my bouquet, I hired two stands and flower arrangements and bought two corsages which I was equally impressed with and looked lovely on the day. I would 100% recommend! Thanks again!

Just look at this! How beautiful 🤍
The colour palette for this wedding just screamed romance to me, with soft pinks, shades of white and n**e tones.
Plus the bouquet had the most stunning variety of preserved roses and gardenias, which made for such a dreamy bouquet.

One of my favourite wedding bouquets I've made.

Such a gorgeous colour choice from the beautiful bride Holly.
Mainly eucalyptus foliage with bright pops of colour in a range of dried flowers.

This was from last summer, and Holly tells me it's still looking amazing in a vase in her living room ❤️

One of the best things about dried flowers is they pretty much last forever!

Thanks again Holly, it was so much fun to create this for you.

Another beautiful wedding from last summer.
Loved making this bouquet, it was a 360 degree one, so could be held at any angle & look fab.
With shades of white & pops of dark green eucalyptus, one of the best colour combinations.
We also provided table centrepieces and arrangements to decorate the A-frame at Willerby Barn.

I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted for my bouquet but Katie was so helpful - I sent over photos of the venue and my dress alongside my very vague ideas and she created something beyond my wildest dreams. It fit the setting perfectly and now decorates our living room as a beautiful reminder of our wedding day ❤️✨

I think this is one of my favourite bouquets I've made.
All the colours and foliage work so well together.

Hello

Just wanted to update you all on what's been happening this week.
With our lease coming to an end, it's time to move out of the shop 😭, so sad but excited with what's to come.

I'll be making more announcements in the next few weeks with more info.

But for now nothing much is changing, just moving the business to another location and working online from now on.

Crazy that the first photo is from 2 years ago this week, my first shift and first installation I got to work on.

Just want to say a huge thank you to all our customers over the last 3 years, & to the amazing community on Humber Street. Going to miss this place ❤️

We’ve kinda known for a while that the natural direction that Ophelia was heading in was more weddings and big installations. That’s what we all love doing and that’s where the majority of our sales have been coming from. And it’s reached a point now where after having been at a bit of a crossroads for a while we decided to commit to weddings and invest all of our energy into that. If we close the retail side it means we can have more space for creating big installations. We can keep a bigger stock of the flowers and equipment we need for making them. We can make a big mess too without worrying that the shop doesn’t look pristine. It feels right that our space becomes a workshop, a studio, rather a shop.
