l've sat here all afternoon processing the email I received today. The email that read - Congratulations, you have made it to the Regional Finals at The Wedding Industry Awards I actually cried! I know, cheesy! But, this means so much to me. In a world where we often doubt ourselves and not feel good enough, I needed this!Yes - I may not win - after all that would be an achievement but, to even get through to the finals. To be recognised is this world of weddings is everything I've dreamed of. To all of you that took the time to nominate - then vote- thank you! To everyone that has passed through my shop - thank you. To all the brides that I have been with throughout their whole journey- thank you. The finals are on the 11th November- whatever the result - I will take my certificate of recognition to be entered into the final and pop it pride of place on the wall.
