JZ Flowers is proud to support Brainkind, a charity dedicated to transforming the lives of people living with acquired brain injuries and neurological conditions. We’ve donated flowers to create beautiful arrangements for the residents at Victoria House, one of Brainkind’s specialist rehabilitation units. These arrangements will add a festive touch to their Christmas lunch and bring some extra cheer to their rooms.

Brainkind provides life-changing support, helping individuals achieve their goals and exceed expectations through specialist rehabilitation. Their work makes a real difference to so many lives across the UK.

We’re so proud of our JZ Flowers colleagues Jonathan Young and Chris Manoussakis, who smashed the TCS Amsterdam Marathon on Sunday, October 20th with impressive times:

Not only did they achieve incredible personal goals, but they also ran to raise money for two important causes through the Dutch Flower Foundation (DFF):

Wonder Woman Elgon Foundation (Kenya) – helping empower women with the tools and support they need.

Mela for Her Foundation (Ethiopia) – improving opportunities and livelihoods for women in Ethiopia.

A JZ Flowers team has proudly participated in the Humber Bridge Half Marathon, supporting MIND Hull and East Yorkshire, one of our selected charities.

Originally planned for last year but postponed, the anticipation made this moment even more special. It was an incredible opportunity to raise awareness and funds for mental health, an issue we are passionate about.

This summer, we celebrated with our amazing employees with two epic summer parties, bringing our teams together for unforgettable day! 🎉 Newport’s festival-themed bash featured wild bucking broncos, hilarious sumo suits, and a rocking DJ. 🌟

At Holbeach, in Lincolnshire, we went tropical with a Hawaiian party complete with piñatas, and pineapple bowling. 🍍 Both created the perfect vibe for our teams to kick back, relax, and enjoy each other's company! 🌺🎈

Two runners from JZ Flowers, Jonny Young and Chris Manoussakis, are gearing up to participate in the prestigious TCS Amsterdam Marathon on Sunday, October 20th.

This challenging event, recognised with the World Athletics Platinum Label, will see them running through some of Amsterdam’s most scenic landmarks, including the Rijksmuseum and Vondelpark.

Supporting Worthy Causes
In this marathon, Jonny and Chris have joined hands with the Dutch Flower Foundation (DFF), a noble initiative supporting various projects that benefit growers and partners within the flower supply chain. The funds raised from their participation will be directed towards two significant foundations:

Wonder Woman Elgon Foundation (Kenya): This foundation focuses on empowering women in Kenya, providing them with the necessary tools and support to thrive.

Mela for Her Foundation (Ethiopia): Dedicated to enhancing the lives of women in Ethiopia, this foundation works towards creating better opportunities and fostering development.

Thank you so much to all the Year 5 pupils from Francis Askew Primary School who came to visit it us back in May! We were thrilled to receive your wonderful thank you cards which arrived this week. It’s so heart warming to see how much you enjoyed your visit to JZ Flowers.

During the visit, the children engaged in activities such as bouquet arranging and packaging design, gaining insight into our daily operations. A special shoutout to Hull and EY Children's University for making this memorable experience possible.
