If you need support this winter, we have a warm space available here at Springhead Park Golf Club seven days a week, with free soup and hot drinks available. Simply pop in and help yourself to a hot drink from the tea urn. Then sit back, relax and enjoy the community feel of the club house and coffee shop. At the recent Groundwork Golf Board meeting, Barrie Tait and Eric Norton were presented with Honorary Life Memberships of Springhead Park Golf Club by the Chairman, Peter Cooper.

Barrie is the Golf Clubs longest serving member, having first played at Springhead in the 1950’s. A single figure handicapper for over 40 years, he has represented Springhead in many competitions. In recent years has helped the green staff by raking all the bunkers two or three-times a week, even though he is now in his eighties!

Eric is one of the longest serving members. He too has represented Springhead in competitions for many years and is the East Riding Alliance representative, on committee. Eric has also kept an eye on our junior section, and he also is the tee-off starter for all the major events held at the Club.

Both Barrie and Eric are two of the Club’s most respected members and the Honorary Life Membership reflects their long and distinguished contributions to Springhead Park Golf Club.

We have EMS supplied food available from the community freezer at Springhead Park Golf Club Coffee Shop. If you are struggling with the rising cost of living. We can help. Select four meals for just £3.50. Currently available we have roast pork casserole, roasted sausage and potato, BBQ pork with chips, roast chicken with potatoes, vegetables and gravy and honey mustard pork with sweet potato fries. The community freezer is available 7 days a week till 11pm. Speak to a member of staff or volunteer who will be happy to help
