I can’t actually believe I did it I FINISHED UNIVERSITY 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 something I never thought I’d say I’ve always watched in ore my sisters get amazing grades and being so clever and I’ve always been ditzy Katie no qualifications and the teenage mum who will mount to nothing but despite this I pushed myself out my comfort zone and by myself went to college and somehow qualified as a florist, that gave me the drive to carry on and apply for university it’s been a really hard 2 years learning I’m dyslexic but not getting the help I need for it yet, learning how to be academic, write essays, do presentations as well as all the floristry skills, but this last year due to major health complications has pushed me way over my limit and many times I’ve nearly walked away but through the amazing support system around me and help from uni I made it and have been able to partake in some amazing things Beverly mister’s graduation flowers, Harrogate flower show, my cake in cake room window, my grandads funeral flowers and some amazing wedding flowers for family and friends marks just a few, I have made so many amazing memories and had lots of laughs as well as lots of tears but I have also made 2 amazing new friends for life who I’ve probably drove crazy week In week out saying how do I do this this, what have I forgotten 🤣🤣but I’m so appreciate of them and couldn’t of done it without them but In honesty I couldn’t of done it without all my family and friends and especially my husband Joe Wilcockson who have believed in me and got me to where I am now so a massive thank you to you all I will be forever grateful but now I’m going to enjoy my break and be excited to get my cap and gown 👩🏻🎓 in November well until September when I’m going to go back to university again to do level 6 the last floristry course available 😂 I must be mad 🤣 ###xx
