Mollie and Jake - York
I’VE GOT TWO TICKETS TO IRON MAIDEN, BABY
Mollie and Jake were married at the Merchant Adventurers Hall - now a museum, which was built in the year 1350?!! Steve, Cal and Bushman Photo & Film arrived to a very chilled morning, with the girls ordering Greggs, getting ready in style, in an Air B&B right opposite the venue!
The weather held out, we went for a walk around York, and pretty much brought the entire city centre to a standstill
Ferriby Florals dressed the place up just right, while The Rolling Keys tore the roof off on the dance floor!
Jake, it’s rearing its ugly head
Candy and Andy - Wold View
444
Candy and Andy got matching tattoos! They were also married last month, at the beautiful Wold View Farm Weddings surrounded by friends, family and fields.
The girls and the boys got ready in the onsite lodges, right next to each other. The bride tribe were on point, and the boys… well, they’d had a heavy night, which ended up with one of them on crutches all day!
Ginger Snaps Wedding Photography got the boys ready (he took a few nice photos too) while Unity Rhodes Bridal made the girls look a million dollars!
Congrats guys! Thanks for having us!
Chris and Rosie - Manor Rooms
HIM WITH THE B*****D BANJO
Chris and Rosie married at the manor rooms last month and it was the craziest day ever. We were called many horrific names, there was Alpaca’s Millie and Brenda and even Olympic gold medalist - Mo Farrah showed up?!? For real.
FoB, Marks speech had everyone crying, including us, bushman photo excelled himself with the sh*t shirt competition, Mike McKay had everyone dancing.
Top team!

Courtney and Joe - Lazzat
TINY HANDS
Courtney and Joes dad’s joked when the kids were just 4 years old, ‘wouldn’t it be funny if they got together when they were older’…. Well guess what…. They did, and we were lucky enough to capture it.
The girls spent a very chilled morning in the bridal suite, getting pampered by Unity Rhodes Bridal and the boys got ready at Joes dads, where he treated us to coffee and bacon sarnies (cheers dude)! They were married at Lazzat hotel, which was beautifully decorated by Born Boho, the weather just held out and we gambled on a sunset, which finally came! Working alongside Abraham Photography for the first time was an absolute blast, we should totally do that again!
Thank you for having us guys! See you at the vow renewal for more bacon banjoes, yeah?
Dylan and Caitlin - Granary Barn
NOICE!
Dylan and Caitlin got married on a very wet and very windy day in March up at the beautiful Granary Barn. Working alongside @Daryll Brooks photography was ace, we battled against the elements almost all day (it was freezing) but Steve kept all four of his eyes on the weather, and eventually we were treated to the most beautiful sunset which we timed perfectly!
The night time celebrations started with a beautiful first dance, a daddy-daughter dance that brought tears to our eyes, then onto the old school pop punk and nu-metal playlist, so naturally we got stuck in, on the dance floor!
Thank you for having us guys! See you in Spiders Chinese soon?
Alix and Paul - Rise Hall
'YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE'
Yeah Paul went there! In his vows! Alix and Paul were wed at Rise Hall over Christmas and what a day it turned out to be! The weather could only be described as a hurricane, but the fires were roaring and the drinks were flowing, then Rich Reynolds magician showed up and melted everyones heads!
Considering these guys said they were nervous in front of a camera, we think they nailed it, and we're really chuffed with how this one came out!
Thank you for having us Alix and Paul. Big loves ❤️
Jess and Dan - Oaklands
2 GOLLLLLLD RIIIIIIINGS
Jess and Dan were married at the ever beautiful Oaklands on an unseasonably sunny day in November. They exchanged personal vows in the shooting hut, followed by the greatest father-of-the-bride speech we’ve ever seen!
Working alongside Dan and ‘other Dan’ from Ginger Snaps Wedding Photography was ace and we laughed our way through the entire day! Also, thank you Dan for the multicam tip - it’s changed my life 😂
Thanks for having us Mr and Mrs B. Merry (belated) Christmas
Lauren and Gaz - Highfield House
SURPRISE!
Lauren and Gaz planned a 30th birthday party at The Highfield House back in November. What they didn’t tell anybody is… they were actually getting married!!
The guests turned up, we were told to hide along with the bride and the guests were seated in the ceremony room, where the penny finally dropped.
Rich at Kazooieloki was on point, with the snappy snaps, we went for a mooch around the vast grounds and then the fire breathers started the night time celebrations! It was awesome!
Thanks for having us Lauren and Gaz, you sneaky beavers!
Tonicha and John - Woolas Barn
TAAL AS OLD AS TIME
Tonicha and John became ‘the Taals’ at the stunning Woolas Barn back in November with Becky Wright Wedding Photography It was freezing!!! Steve and Will joined the girls in good spirits, knowing that this would be a day to remember. Then the boys arrived…. We knew it would be a day we’d never forget!
The party was WILD, the drinks were a-flowing, the laughs were a-plenty and the dancing was accompanied by bottles of red wine on the dance floor. Absolute scenes!
They wanted their film to be fast paced and fun….. so that’s what we did. Big ups Mr and Mrs T. Thanks for having us!
Mia and Owen _ The barn at WIllerby
YORKSHIRE ROSE
To be asked to cover a fellow wedding industry professionals big day is always a total honour. The beautiful Mia and Owen from the The Social Rose did just that at The Barn At Willerby and overseen by the wonderful Penelope Jayne celebrant.
We and Vicky Benge Photography powered through the rain for most of the day but then the clouds parted and we were treated to the most amazing sunset. Owen’s love note to his daughter Rose had us in tears, so we HAD to put it into the film.
DJ Mike Mckay tore the roof off, and good god, these guys knew how to party! Thanks for having us, the Harrisons! X
Nicola and Owin - The Barn at WIllerby
BESTIESSSSSS
Nicola and Owin were married at The Barn At Willerby back in October. The weather was decent, the dog was well behaved, and we won't talk about our meeting at the pub......
Working alongside Ian and Christina at The Little Photo Firm was a pleasure as always. Thanks for having us dudes. We'll see you down the pub for another quiz night soon! 😂😂😂
Adam and Becky - Oaklands
'MAH WIFE!'
Adam and Becky were married at Oaklands in the pavilion under a touch-and-go sky. The weather wasn't the kindest to us until later on when we were treated to a glorious sunset! Working with Shane Atken Photography was a pleasure as always!
The bride got ready in the new awesome new lodges on site, the dogs got their own little victory lap, and they danced in the woods surround by sparklers. It was dead romantic.
We also got the boys to record a special message. See if you can hear it.....
Kirsty and Shane
FOREVER YOUNG
Kirsty and Shane became Mr and Mrs D at Dunedin House in summer and what a day it was. Kirsty had meticulously planned every last detail, the room looked stunning, the Singing Waiters tore the roof off, and the sax player made sure the party went off with a bang.
Working alongside Holly @flash forward photo was an absolute blast, and we totally forgot about the dude who stripped completely naked - he didn’t make the cut.
Congrats guys. Big loves x
Aimie and Carlton - Bagden Hall
MARTIN IT'S LINDA!
Aimie Balmer and Carlton Balmer got married at the beautiful Bagden Hall Hotel in Denby Dale. The morning started out nice and chilled, whilst the girls were getting ready..... then the boys arrived.
We went for a walk with Darren Fleming Photography and found a super-cute old bridge house, made friend with some ducks and then made our way back for the speeches!
The day was nuts and filled with laughter. The guests were amazingly funny and knew how to party! They did West Yorkshire proud!
Sophie and Carl - Rise Hall
SHE'S MY BEST FRIEND'
Sophie and Carl's day at Rise Hall was stunning! The weather was unkind, but to be battened down in a storm in such a beautiful building, was well atmospheric!
Carl was probably the most reluctant groom I think us and Photography by Roberta had ever met, but we managed to get a smile or two out of him and ended up having an amazing time together!
Steve never did find that secret passageway in the library....
Gemma and Martin - Camblesforth
BUBBLES!
We actually didn't ask them to do this, but they wanted bubbles! Who are we to intervene! Gemma and Martin got married at Camblesforth Hall and Grange, the most sunning new venue! It was just a shame about the weather (yawn).
There was a beautiful ceremony, led by Penelope Jayne follwed by drinks, food and ROCK 'N ROLL BINGO which Steve had far too much fun with/helping people out.
Congrats Gemma and Martin - that dress was 👌🏻
Louise and Reece - Hackness Grange
IF YOU GO DOWN TO THE WOODS TODAY….
Louise and Reece got married at the STUNNING Hackness Grange outdoors under a canopy made of wood and fairy lights! The weather, although unpredictable, we couldn't have timed it better!
Working alongside Photography_34 was brilliant, and we even went up for a drive to Reece's old scouting woods and found an enchanted woodland of our own!!
Thank you so much guys! Your day was SO you! We had a lot of fun with this one x
GARY NEVILLE
After filming Ryan and Sammie's wedding, back in the actual day, we got booked for his brothers wedding too! Lauren and Paul got married at the stunning The Parsonage Hotel & Spa near York for the happiest day of their lives! Steve and Will got a shout out in the speeches too (Gary Neville)
It was great to see the kids (who have all grown so fast) and to see RM // Photography who has not grown up at all. That love heart was rubbish! That walk down the lane..... We'll never forget.
Thanks for having us x
Steve + Will
Sam and Emma - Oaklands
I DON’T LIKE CRICKET. I LOVE IT!
Emma and Sam’s wedding day at Oaklands was perfect! Not too hot, not too cold. Just right! Emma had planned the day meticulously and Sam loved cricket (he didn’t mention it) Also the confetti shot is just ooooft.
Working with Amy Cawthorne Photography for the first time was lovely, the weather was perfect and we even got a shoutout in the speeches from dad!
Thank you for having us guys! Big loves,
Steve and Cal x
