This Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) marks the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest N**i concentration camp complex, and the 30th anniversary of the genocide in Bosnia.

We pray that this can be an opportunity for people to come together, learn both from and about the past, and take actions to make a better future for all.

For a Better Future is the theme for Holocaust Memorial Day 2025.

Volunteers needed at KCAH hub
You may know that KCAH has run a Winter Night Shelter (WNS) for over 20 years. They are currently looking for volunteers to help at “the Hub” which is aimed for those that have difficulty within a more structured environment and situated in the centre of Kingston with free parking.

What would a volunteer shift look like? it would give you an opportunity to chat to people through the night, share some food, support people with any additional needs, play a game, watch a film, get new clothes and more. You will be the person who cares, the person who starts to build trust with someone which could result in a housing offer further down the line. KCAH need at least one volunteer on site each night with their paid staff, could you be that person? Please click here for details https://allsaintskingston.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/KCAH-Additional-Provision-3.jpg
Please continue to support KCAH to be able to offer sanctuary to those who ordinarily might not get an offer. Sign up for a shift and change lives. https://kcah.org.uk/can-you-help-us/vounteer
