Richmond Park is closed tomorrow (Saturday 7th December)

Pembroke Lodge and Kiosk closed tomorrow
Sunday 24th November

⚠️ Due to severe wind gusts caused by , Richmond Park will be closed on Sunday 24 November. This closure includes all cafes and kiosks, park roads and cycleways.

📢 Richmond Park will be subject to a delayed opening on Monday following a safety inspection of the park.

Cooked Breakfasts will be served as usual tomorrow (Saturday 23rd November)
On Sunday 24th November cooked breakfasts will not be prepared due to the possibility of a later park opening time

⚠️ Please note that due to predicted high winds from Storm Bert, Pembroke Lodge Gardens, the Isabella Plantation, Roehampton/Robin Hood/Kingston Gate Gardens, Sidmouth Driftway, Prince Charles Spinney, Two Storm Wood & the Platinum Jubilee Woodland will all be closed on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 November.

✅ Pembroke Lodge and the kiosks around the park remain open.

🌳 We'd also advise visitors not to seek shelter under trees during the high winds.

We're sorry for any inconvenience that these closures may cause.

Born OTD in 1872, the mathematician and philosopher Bertrand Russell spent much of his childhood living in Richmond Park’s Pembroke Lodge, where he said he “grew accustomed to wide horizons and an unimpeded view of the sunset”- as visitors still do today.
