I am often asked “what is your favourite venue?” Another question can be “does it not feel the same, being at the same venue?”
Simply - every single couple is unique, their story, friends, family and their journey together. I don’t mind where the venue is or if it is somewhere I have been before. Arriving there feels like the very first time as today brings a new adventure, friends and family together, tales about this couples love and life together. Let’s make them laugh, let’s make them cry and just have the nicest afternoon, no matter where it is.

Simply epic! Devin & David flew in to Scotland for their magical day at Drumtochty Castle Our ceremony had a gesture for the mums, lovely vows, Quaich drinking and a story full of love and laughter. The day was captured by and guests were entertained by Ritz Trio Lovely to catch up again with Lisa from Tartan Weddings who organised the whole experience. The couple then asked me to go to their room for a private handfasting ceremony which was lovely.

So my first wedding of 2025 took me way up to Inverurie. Logie Country House played host to Hannah & Ben’s most special day. Guests were greeted by Alba Bagpipes - Professional Scottish Entertainment and entertained by Tears ya plenty for our couple as we told a lovely story about meeting in the operating theatre over a bum abscess. Ah yes, good times. Our ceremony was lovely, we told a story about dating, like to love and their wonderful life together. We drank from the Quaich, a wee gesture for the mums, personal vows and sealed the deal with some handfasting. The day was captured by Apricot Tree Photography Congratulations Mr & Mrs Martin.

Gemma & Ross ended the year on a high with their spectacular wedding at Balbirnie House Hotel
We had a jam packed ceremony bursting at the seams with love and laughter. Nicola Campbell at NC Photography and Michelle Gillan Films were the dynamic duo capturing the day. Lisa & Stephen had their magical day at Citation Weddings & Events The fabby Isaac Craig Photography was doing his thing, the Glasgow Piano Man entertained the guests throughout. Little tiny Emma from .bestie was capturing magical moments and Hannah from Whathannahdoes creating bespoke masterpieces, it was quite the team. Kathryn & Ryan flew in from Canada for their magical wedding at Drumtochty Castle. Guests were welcomed by Thistle Piping and then entertained by Cairn String Quartet. I have loved going on a journey with this couple to create the perfect ceremony jammed full of love and laughter. Always time for a dance

Over two years ago Claire & Paul had an enquiry zoom with little old me and it just worked, we bonded, we laughed and chatted about their ideal wedding ceremony. Since then we have been on quite a journey and I couldn’t wait for their big day. It was wonderful at Auchen Castle. Callum the piper welcomed guests to the hotel, the devine Charlotte Sager Harpist entertained the guests throughout the day and snapping away was Sarah from Bear & Butterfly Photography.
