Had a such lovely day yesterday working with York.
They treated their customers and visitors to free spring posies.
British paper whites, tulips and hyacinths were among the flowers wrapped up as gifts.

So nice to see the joy an unexpected gift gives.

Yesterdays farewell flowers.

It felt very fitting to spend some time making this for a funeral today.

The queens flowers were so beautifully symbolic of her life and I hope that these flowers are a fitting tribute.. full of pink dahlias symbolising grace and kindness
Something we will all hope to be remembered for.

Dahlia season is definitely here !

The great thing about dahlias, is the more you pick the more they bloom. So that means we will have these and many other varieties right through August and September.

My flower beds are finally looking good.
Lots of flowers, not as many weeds and most importantly brimming with wildlife
Most sucessful blooms so far are scabious, snapdragons, annual asters and direct down cornflowers.. compl different from last year ! Practice makes perfect it seems !! I’m busy turning them into lots of thank you bunches, and bouquets as we reach the end of another school year .
