Just a wee reminder to everyone collecting orders tomorrow. The shop is on the Half Marathon route meaning there are road closures on Rosslyn Street.

The closest parking to the shop will be Bandon Avenue but you will have to navigate road closures to get there 🙈

I'm often asked what size of oven I have to be able to produce the amount of sausage rolls that I do. So here is it is.... it's a mighty Ninja. I do have a commercial oven but it's been relegated to the garage & to be honest it's way more expensive to run. There's nothing I did in the big oven that can't be done in the Ninja!

The Sage oven to the side is now my backup oven & the first piece of equipment I bought when I was opening the shop

When your asked if you can do some Individual Afternoon Teas with a little Scottish Twist. No problem, I added in a Haggis Sausage Roll, a Black Pudding Sausage Roll, Oatcakes, Onion Chutney, Cheese & Chutney. To add a final Scottish twist a little taster of Tablet, Fudge & Macaroon

This is what a Buffet for 100 looks like, all freshly prepared today

**Edit** I forgot the Kids Lunch Box! What a day!! One of the busiest I've had since opening..... well it certainly felt like it as I was flying solo. I pulled it off though even with a sprained wrist and a grazed n twisted knee. 1 x Brunch box & Platter for a bridal party 3 x Afternoon Teas for Two 74 x (yep, you read it right) Afternoon Teas for one. 1 x Buffet for 100 People. I'm home, shoes are off & Takeaway ordered I've left my diary in the shop and it's staying there until Tuesday while I enjoy a couple of recovery days.

I wish I could give everyone a box but there’s only one so to keep it fair I got Colin to draw a winner… Congratulations to Kayleigh Murray, the box is ready for collecting (Excuse the phone at the end)

Now the fun really begins, we get to assemble all the boxes and watch the hard work all come together…. It would’nt be Christmas without a Christmas Eve Box

A 4.30am start this morning, everything made fresh for a Funeral Tea for 150 people. Included are 2 small platters catering for vegetarians and gluten free. All our Funeral Teas are bespoke and are made to our customer's requirements.

Our Buffet Package for 80 delivered this afternoon to a lovely couple celebrating 20 years of marriage. Congratulations to you both and I hope you all have a lovely afternoon/evening

Phew that was a long shift, a 28 hour one to be exact!! Early start on Tuesday for a funeral tea that was delivered on 12pm and then straight on to start prepping for today's funeral. 30 trays in total delivered this morning to a family saying their final goodbyes to their 18 year old daughter, my heart breaks for them.

Even with an ear infection it doesn’t stop us providing the best service we can. Today was all about our Kids Buffett, everything made fresh this morning and to the customers Allergy requirements - Sandwiches Sausage rolls Cocktail sausages Pastry wrapped hotdogs with ketchup dip Chicken nuggets Marshmallow top hats Homemade fudge Marshmallow Krispie Slice

This is a glimpse of our £75 Buffet Deal, the customer didn’t want the pakoras so substituted with cake platter and cocktail sausages….
