Here’s what Kelly had to say about her journey of having a made-to-measure gown made just for her:
“The most special thing about it was that it wasn’t finished yet and I got to see pieces of the dress added on as Mirka crafted it from scratch.
It was a very special experience for me. Even though I didn’t see the final result straight away - I loved the structure of the dress, the boning, the lace pattern, the corset style made me feel powerful.
The detachable sleeves I felt were very modern and effortless. I felt overall that the dress was very ‘me.’ It also had a sexy element to it too which I loved.”
