Exciting news for 2025. A lot of couples enquire to book Steven personally for your Wedding. This has never been possible, it has always been on an if available basis. Well folks new for 2025, you can now secure Steven to play personally at your Wedding. For new bookings you will have the option of 'a Scotia Piper' or Steven to play personally at your Wedding.

We have a few Wedding Fairs and Open Days coming up. Here is currently a list of what we will be attending:

Initiatives for Children's Hospices Across Scotland

Burns for Schools

Delighted to announce I'll be running my Burns for School's Project again this year.

I'm offering my services to School's throughout Fife (Fife only due to maximising time) I'll come along to your School and have a chat with the children about the bagpipes, the history, how they work, the kilt. Play some tunes, talk about Rabbie Burns.

A great fit if your School is doing some Scottish things to celebrate Burns Week.

In return for my visit to your School, I'm looking for a recommended minimum donation to CHAS of £50 through my just giving page. This is only a guideline, can be more or less.

If you are interested in taking this up, I have some time on the 20th, 21st, 22nd Jan left and from the 27th - 31st. I'll visit as many schools as possible within this period.

Bagpipe Workshops

I am offering 2 bagpipe workshops for families, friends, or a staff team bonding event (not to be sold on). This is a brilliant immersive 1 hour session where we will cover the history of bagpipes, how they work, trying chanters and the pipes themselves, with fun anecdotes from my piping career. You'll leave with knowledge and laughs.
These can be booked any mutually agreeable time through 2025, and are available for a minimum £150 donation to CHAS.

Chas is an organisation close to my heart. They do amazing work with children who have life ending illnesses, and provide lasting memories and support for their families.

And so it begins, our first Wedding of 2025. Congrats ro Demi and Craig who had Stevie pipe for them at their Balbirnie Wedding on the 2nd Jan.

We’ll be back at Balbirnie on the 12th Jan 25. Look forward to meeting newly engaged couples to discuss their Wedding plans.

Winter is upon us we are still busy with Weddings.
We love it when we start seeing venues decorated up for Christmas, not quite there yet but the Dean Park have their exterior lights up.
Piper Steven Dewar on Saturday at the Wedding of Corin and Ryan. Thanks for having us and we hope you went on to have a brilliant night.

Couple of Weddings for us at Oswald House in Kirkcaldy last week.
We had piper and disco at Chevonne and Stuart’s Wedding on Thursday, with a surprise Halloween theme in the evening. Piper Andy during the day and DJ Stevie in the evening.
Saturday was the turn of Heather and Craig, who had Stevie on the pipes through the day. They opted for an autumn outside wedding by the tree. It’s a fabulous setting. DJ chris entertained them in the evening with his banging tunes ‘his words 😂’ They also had our mood lights to theme the room and Mr & Mrs Pillars.

And the Fife piper heads west again, this time to the bonnie bonnie banks of Loch Lomond for the Wedding of Natalie and Bill. I welcomed the guests with some upbeat bagpipe music, piped the couple back down the aisle to Atholl Highlanders, piped them over to the loch side and a few tunes during the photographs.

In a change from Weddings, had an awesome time performing a cameo on the closing night of Carrie Hope Fletcher’s - Love Letters tour last night at the Festival Theatre, Edinburgh. The cast decided to surprise Carrie with some bagpipes to mark the end of her tour. It went down a storm.

Wedding Piper duties at Kelly and Nicole’s Wedding at the Dean Park Hotel, Kirkcaldy on Saturday. We also supplied confetti cannon for their first dance as a married couple. Loved the banter with the contingent over from Ireland. All the best for the future ladies.

Great week for weddings. Here are some pics from Charley and Ciaran’s Wedding at the Inn at Charlestown. I went live on this one last Thursday. Turned out a great day and night. We supplied bagpiper and wedding DJ for them. Mixing songs from their playlist with some of my own Wedding favourites. Guests were in great party mood on the dance floor. Shame the end came at midnight.

I’m loving autumn Weddings. It’s becoming my favourite season. Great to see the Dean Park tree back up. Call to nature as well, i love.

Good times at Claire and Malcolm’s Wedding on Saturday. I felt the emotion as she walked up the aisle.

Our last Bay Wedding of the season. Piper and Disco and George’s Wedding last Sat. Been a pleasure to have been involved with the Bay Weddings this year.
