Angela + Rob - Clava Mains

On Friday, I officially un-retired from wedding photography for the day, to document the wedding of Angela and Rob. It was an auspicious day, which has been in the making for 30 odd years! Angela is my lovely cousin and she and Rob have been together for as long as I can remember, so it was truly an honour to be a part of their wedding. Not only that, but my whole family was in attendance, and even more exciting - my daughter was a flower girl!

Thank you so much for having us all along - all our love and massive congratulations once again!

The mobile studio will be at Balmule Valley Fishery next weekend for mini Christmas photo sessions. Sessions will be approximately 5 - 10 minutes long and will cost £20 including one high resolution digital download. Other images can be purchased separately from your private online viewing gallery both as downloads and printed products.

No booking necessary!

And don’t forget, there are all sorts of other Christmas activities on offer while you’re there!

HAPPY VAN-NIVERSARY! (thank you to my nephew Finn for that beaut of a pun!)

I was halfway through a shoot this morning (more on that to come) when the question arose as to when I bought my van - it suddenly dawned on me that, as a matter of fact, it was exactly a year ago to the very day!

On the one hand it feels like the blink of an eye, and yet I can't remember what life was like before it!

It's been an invaluable asset - allowing me to photograph literally thousands of children, as well as families and I'm only getting started!

Still so much to do - but all in good time! If you've had the chance to have your photos taken in her, I hope you enjoyed the experience. And if not, why not?! Lets take some pictures!

PTA COMMITTEES - School Photos
I have been contacted by a lot of individuals looking to book school photographs for their children.

However, when booked individually I have to charge per session and the school does not receive any commission from orders.

When I am booked for a school event (through the PTA, for after school hours), I can offer free to book sessions for all families and private online galleries to purchase from.

If you would like to arrange a date for your school as a fundraising event, please contact me for dates after May 3rd.

My fully self contained and off grid mobile studio means I can provide beautiful, natural portraiture without ever needing to set foot within the school, and outwith school hours. As an added bonus, it means that no classrooms or gym halls are out of use whilst photographs are happening.

School Photos!

With yesterday’s announcement, I am hopeful I can confirm and accept new bookings from the end of April/beginning of May. I will be contacting confirmed bookings shortly.

Despite this positive news, it is assumed that for the rest of the school year, photographers will not be permitted in school buildings within the school day. My fully self contained and off grid mobile studio means I can provide beautiful, natural portraiture without ever needing to set foot within the school, and outwith school hours. As an added bonus, it means that no classrooms or gym halls are out of use whilst photographs are happening.

I will be continuing to offer 15% commission from all sales profits when booked by a school representative or PTA.

No booking fee or minimum order.

Merry Christmas!!!

Thanks so much to everyone who helped make the end of 2020 such an incredible ride!

233 Christmas sessions photographed at Balmule Fishery

166 school portrait sessions through 4 Parent Teacher Associations

A slew of other portrait sessions both in the mobile studio and on location.

All delivered safely and to wonderful feedback from clients and friends both old and new.

I'm genuinely humbled and inspired.

So glad for a little down time to regroup and focus on pushing things forward for next year.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas - and can keep your spirits high through whatever comes next.

All Balmule galleries from the 6th of December have now been sent out - check your inbox if you're waiting (check your junk folder if you cant see it)!

My apologies for the delay - as I've previously mentioned, it's been an exceptionally busy few weeks and there are many varied parts to the post production process that add up to a lot of work behind the scenes.

Dysart PTA sessions will be uploaded over the coming days just as quickly as possible.

Just a quick update!

I’m in the midst of moving house at the moment, after it had been delayed a few times over the last couple of weeks.

Images are still being edited and exported whilst I’m doing this so they are on their way as quickly as possible.

The final day of East Wemyss school photos will be next to be delivered either later tonight or tomorrow, followed closely by last weekends Balmule Christmas Photos.

Then it’s Dysart Primary school photos ASAP.

Any private sessions photographed recently will be done in between these bigger edits so will be uploaded/sent out as soon as they are available over the next day or two.

The mobile studio has been exceptionally busy over the last month!

Just a quick update - anyone waiting on images from either Christmas sessions at Balmule, or school photos from East Wemyss PTA sessions - all images are going to be delivered over the next couple of days. Apologies for the slight delay - the success of the mobile studio has resulted in much less time than usual to backup/edit/export/upload/send out galleries etc.

The good news is, pictures are looking great!
