🎉 Big Announcement! 🎉

The Royal Highland Centre will host the UK Pipe Band Championships on 12th July 2025 in collaboration with the RSPBA - Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association!

This iconic event will bring together the best pipe bands from across the UK, offering thrilling competitions and a celebration of Scottish culture. 🎶🏆 Whether you’re a music enthusiast, a fan of traditions, or simply looking for a fantastic day out, this event is for you!

📍 Held at the Royal Highland Centre, this promises to be a day to remember.

Heading to Fawkes Festival this weekend? 🎆

Here's some important information to know before you get here:

⏰ Opening times⏰

The event site opens at 16:00, last access is 18:00. The fireworks and laser display commences at 18:30. Please do not arrive late, you will not be given access!

🚌 Travel 🚌

Lothian Buses Service 98 will depart from the east end of George Street (stop GS), and will serve stop SD at Shandwick Place, stop HH at Haymarket Station, and all stops along the A8 between Haymarket and Maybury with a total journey time of approximately 30 minutes.

You can also hop on a Edinburgh Trams service to Ingliston Park and Ride!

Stewards will direct you to our North Car Park where there is accessible parking too for blue badge holders.

🎃 Doors are open for day 2 Halloween 🎃

🕑 The clocks go back tonight. This means the event will run until what feels like 3am, but officially clocks will have gone back to 2am. Make sure to arrange travel and pick up plans accordingly.

⌚ Last entry is 7pm.

🍃🌦️ It's a bit windy with some rain expected early evening - bring appropriate clothing, there are lockers available on site.

🎫🎟️ Last remaining resale tickets are available via Skiddle.

Coming to Terminal V this weekend? Check the weather beforehand and dress appropriately - stages are indoors, but you'll need to be prepared for arriving and leaving the event.

At the moment it's looking like today will be dry and mild, but it is likely to feel colder later on. There will be lockers available on site to store your jackets and belongings.

Doors open at 6pm this evening - check the set times here and save them to your phone.
