We are delighted to now be announcing our pop-up cinema coming to Orkney on the 21st and 22nd of December, in partnership with Cormac from Orkney Events 🎅 what better way to start than with a Christmas themed film to get you in the holiday spirit? Join us in the Firth Hall for festive screenings of your favourite holiday classics💫

Festive films will be displayed on our BRAND NEW 200” screen and HD projector!📽️ keep your eyes peeled on here in the comings days where we will reveal our schedule and prices for the weekend.

We’ve got some dates for your diary! ⛄️🎅

We are delighted to be teaming up with William Shearer this year to spread some festive cheer! 🎄

This December, we have not one, but TWO amazing weekends planned in-store. Here’s what you can look forward to:

6th–7th December 🍿

Rumor has it Santa will be in town, setting up shop upstairs in Shearers! And because Santa has a sweet tooth, we’ll be serving Popcorn and Candy Floss all day to keep him (and his elves) happy.

Make sure to grab some before they eat it all! 🎅🧝

14th–15th December – THE BIG WEEKEND!

We’re pulling out all the stops for this one. Here’s what’s in store:
• Popcorn & Candy Floss 🍬
(Because you can never have too much sugar at Christmas, right?)
• Festive Photobooth 📸
Get into the Christmas spirit with our festive fancy dress and snap some fun family or group photos! With our on-site printer, you’ll have your pictures instantly to take home as a keepsake. 🧑‍🎄🤶⛄️❄️
• Bouncy Castles 🏰
The ultimate fun for all ages! We’ll be setting up some of our inflatables in the garage out back—don’t worry, you’ll be too busy bouncing to feel the cold. 🧤🧣

We take extra care in cleaning the bouncy castles so they’re well looked after, and clean for the peedie ones to have a bounce on. This is a great winter job especially in this weather🥶 here is Ethan hard at work giving them a good scrub!

LOCHSIDE ROASTERS - it’s been a long time coming!

After a lot of dedication, time and hard work I am delighted to announce we are in the final stages of the shed renovation, or should I now say the roastery!🥳

This is going to be a huge learning curve for myself with lots of experimentation but I can’t wait for what’s going to come. Here’s to some great roasts and even better coffee☕️

We are delighted to welcome Isla to the team! 🥳

As well as Isla having to keep Baillie right at home she is now going to attempt to keep him right at work too! Not as easy task admittedly 😬😂

Isla is coming on to manage our social media and customer enquiries. We sometimes find ourselves struggling to keep up with all the behind the scenes tasks and this is an attempt to improve your customer experience from the beginning.

We are very grateful for Isla coming and taking on this role and with her great organisation skills we know she is going to be great. 💯👌

Evening folks.

I just wanted to stick up a quick post thanking everyone for their kind words and support today but even more so to those who messaged offering vans, pickups and trailers if we needed it! Community spirit at its best 😊

Also a big shout out to Ethan who has shuttled inflatables back and forth in my peedie van today 🤦‍♂️😂

Days like today are sent to test us but we got all inflatables out to those who wanted to go ahead and I have had reports of many folk having a grand day in which could be one of the last summer days we see this year ☀️

Morning folks, Baillie here.

First me and Ethan would like to apologise for the disruption that has been caused due to us having to cancel hires last minute today. We have had a break down with a vehicle and I am not currently in Orkney which has left Ethan high and dry.

We are in the process of sorting a vehicle to try and get some of your hires out today. We understand some of you may have alternative arrangements already but we will be in touch via message or email to update you.

We are deeply sorry for this shambles. Customer service really matters more than anything to us and it kills us to let folk down. We will do what we can to get inflatables out today.

Evening folks. I am sorry to announce that due to high wind forecast tomorrow we are unable to bring our inflatables to the County show.

We are gutted at this outcome but I’m sure we can all agree safety must come first.

I hope everyone at the show gets a good day and let’s hope for sun and no wind next year!

Thank you very much to Billy from Scotbounce Ltd for carrying out the annual P**A tests this evening.

We are delighted that all of our inflatables have passed the standards required and are good for use. These tests are crucial to ensure safe operation of the business and to ensure all the equipment is manufactured and maintained to a high standard.
