Hello to all the Orkney Inflatables followers! Today we would like to introduce ourselves to you after taking over the business this weekend 😎
Our names are Baillie Rorie and Ethan Johnston and we will be serving all your inflatable needs going forward. 🏰
Ethan is an apprentice joiner and enjoys DIY projects and woodworking projects as well as working on cars when he is not at work. Ethan recently went into business with Baillie when they both formed The Orkney Rental Company Ltd. A few months back where they are expanding the range of marquee and party equipment they offer. 👌
Baillie is the founder and co-owner of R & P Networks Ltd. Who specialise in the supply and Install of CCTV and security equipment as well as network solutions. As previously mentioned, Baillie went into business with Ethan to form the Orkney Rental Company Ltd. 👌
We would like to take the chance to give a huge thanks to both Ali and Kyra who have signed the business over to us and gave us a massive help getting all the equipment shifted over and offered us ongoing support to ensure we can provide the best service possible ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Going forward we would be delighted if anyone had any suggestions or ideas that they would share with us to help us gauge what we could be offering as we settle into our new roles!

Through no fault of its own we have decided to sell the business. We havent made this decision lightly but with Ali being as busy as ever he can no longer dedicate as much time to the business and i simply cannot do it myself. We are still taking bookings for the time being and it will be very much business as usual. We are looking to sell the business as a whole and will not consider selling separately at this time. The inflatables have been inspected and will be due again August 2024. Its a fantastic business that we have throughly enjoyed owning but the best part for us has been the customers, old and new. We cannot thank you all enough. Please only ask if youre seriously interested, viewing is essential.

We have ticked another island off of our hire list. This time our hire was for Westray.
We had our annual inspections this past week and we are delighted to say they all passed again. So all are now fully insured, tested and ready to go for another year. We would just like to say another thank you to all of our customers for the continued support and for keeping us busy. 😀

We are nearly set up at the Deerness Vintage Rally. Theres plenty to see. Brough Bakes is here for the opening of their new trailer and theres the hall open too.

Kirkwall lifeboat and station are having their open day this Saturday 27th May down at the West Pier , so come along and meet the crew, have a tour of the boat, and keep an eye open for Stormy Stan!!

Unfortunately good old Orkney weather spoiled our chance of outside hires today. We did however manage our inside hire in Rousay today as part of their community event.
We have been very quiet on here but we are still very much open for buisness. If youre thinking of hiring from us for your next event please get in touch sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment. We are already fully booked on the 6th of May but still have plenty of availability in the summer holidays. Friday also marked our first outdoor hire of the year! Heres hoping for plenty of weather like that.

That’s me set up for my last ever hire in the Finstown hall.
Orkney Inflatables will be taken over by a local couple tomorrow, Monday 13th.

Due to personal circumstances, I have decided to close my diary as of now.

As you probably know, I am actively trying to find a buyer to take over the running of Orkney Inflatables, and if I do, I’m sure this decision will be revised.
