Lovely peedie wedding in the legion last night. The evening started with highland dancing and music from the kirkjuvagr ceilidh band - Orkney. They can always be relied on to play a super set of traditional tunes that get folk on the dance floor. The disco finished the night playing a varied selection of music, as requested, from northern soul, rock ‘n’ roll, disco and even a swing track amongst others! Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Berry and thank you for having us as part of your celebrations.

A good night at the South Ronaldsay and Burray sports dance. Plenty of bairns at the family friendly disco to start. The fun and dancing continued later with help from Iain Laird Events & Security who provided the bar and kept the dancers refreshed! Well done to all the organisers of this event, South Ronaldsay and Burray Sports Festival, nice to see this happening again after covid. Thank you for having us for your music.

Feeling the love tonight as we did a valentines disco at the Hope school and they invited the Burray school to join them 💕. The kids requested a variety of music from all eras which we were able to provide. They certainly looked like they had fun.

60th birthday celebrations last weekend. Thanks for having us for your music.
We’ve been busy these last few weeks with birthday parties and staff parties. We were to do a kids party in St Margaret’s Hope but unfortunately the bad weather and the possibility of the barriers being closed prevented us from doing that. We have a few more events booked in over the festive period. We hope to see lots of folk on Hogmanay as we take in the new year at the Ayre Hotel & Ayre Apartments.
