The next few weeks are fairly busy, the headspace event on Thursday in the St. Magnus centre for Orkney Blide Trust, a wedding the following week and then several Halloween events at the end of the month. November is a quieter month with just a couple of events happening including Kirkwall BID girls day out on November 2nd. December will be busy with staff parties, kids parties, birthday parties and we end the year in Ayre Hotel & Ayre Apartments to take in the new year. We already have a lot of bookings in for next year and even some dates booked for 2026! Thereās very special event happening in Westray today as itās Ken Amerās testimonial rugby match. It will be a day of fun and friends and Alan is delighted to be taking part in all the celebrations. The disco is all set up in the silo ready for tonight but first an afternoon of rugby.
Last nights fun was a school reunion for the KGS class of ā76. After a lot of catching up to start with they took to the floor and danced the night away. The teachers must have had a difficult job with this lot! š Thanks for the booking, it was a great night.

A quieter week ahead with only 1 disco on Thursday at the bike rally. Alan has a weekend off then when heās heading to Golspie to wave some flags about in a field! š
Lovely peedie wedding in the legion last night. The evening started with highland dancing and music from the kirkjuvagr ceilidh band - Orkney. They can always be relied on to play a super set of traditional tunes that get folk on the dance floor. The disco finished the night playing a varied selection of music, as requested, from northern soul, rock ānā roll, disco and even a swing track amongst others! Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Berry and thank you for having us as part of your celebrations.
