When the lovely Megan Martin got married to Jonny in France in June she couldn’t take her bouquet home! She gave it to me and I’m pleased to say it still smells beautiful ❤️❤️❤️

Taken from a very good friend:

Her face has been on every postage stamp I have licked, bank note I have spent and on most coins I have used. I have listened to her message at every Christmas I can remember. She has always been a part of my life from learning the words to the National Anthem to making a pledge for the Boy Scouts. I have not known any part of my life where she has not been representing and working for our Nation , the Commonwealth and more. She has been a dutiful, diligent and steadfast servant of her country. I pay my deepest respects and have the utmost admiration for our wonderful Queen and may she rest in peace. She will be a very hard act to follow x ❤️❤️❤️

Happy New Year to you all! Thank you for sticking with me, It’s been a crazy year! We’ve all learnt lessons and realised just how important friends and family are 💕 May 2021 be the year we rid ourselves of this awful virus. Normal will never quite be the same and for those who have lost loved ones my heart goes out to you. I’m sorry I’ve been quiet for a while and thank you for sticking with me! As with many of you 2020 has thrown some curve balls! This picture was taken when I was young and enthusiastic about life as a celebrant! Covid19 knocked my plans but I’m convinced that some sort of normality will return in 2021. I am living in France but will be performing weddings here and in the UK. Remember that your time will come! So sad that lockdown is here again for the UK 💕 We have to keep faith that weddings will happen again in the future 💕 The time has come to right off 2020 and hope and pray that things are better in 2021 💕 My thoughts are with the couples out there and those in the wedding industry who have seen their businesses collapse in these devastating financial times 😢 I’m hoping we get through to the other side and we go back to making very special days for our couples in the future 💕 💍

Here we go again! Lockdown in France starts tomorrow 😢 It’s not like we haven’t got enough to do at our house but I’ll miss the beach! It’s a very bold statement but I love this with the vivid red bouquet 💕 Imagine your guests when they see you for the first time, it would certainly be a change to the norm! If these uncertain times have taught us anything many of the things we took for granted have been taken away from us but choosing your dress is all about you! So Halloween is round the corner! No Trick or Treat this year but Covid19 won’t stop kids (and adults!) dressing up and having a giggle or a fright! Speaking to one of my lovely brides yesterday 💕 all thoughts of wedding are on hold! It will happen, the love they have is solid but having to keep delaying and changing plans is just too much pressure right now 😢 When the sands of time start changing and Coronavirus does one, we’ll make sure she has the best wedding ever 💕 in the meantime I’ll crack on with a bit more DIY 🤷🏻‍♀️ So many couples are feeling this way! I am happy to chat in the hope that even if you can’t book your day you can get excited about the process 💕 💍

Happy Friday everyone and thank you for following me! Thinking back to when I took this picture I was with my best friends in India, excited about our future 💕 Who knew how many lives would change during 2020? So many people in the wedding industry have struggled as weddings have been cancelled or postponed and income has dried up! Not to mention the heartache and disappointment of so many couples! I’m lucky that we have found positives and started a new adventure in France! If Covid19 hadn’t happened maybe we wouldn’t have found the courage to do something new 💕 I am determined to keep working as a celebrant both here and in the UK, I have faith that a type of normal will return! I have learnt never to take anything for granted and live each day as it comes 💕 There will be ups and their will be downs but with family and friends by my side we’ve got this! On an interior design note finding a beautiful jar like this can be a really stunning ornament! Well my journey continues! This sums things up at the moment! One step at a time 💕 Internet is not very reliable at present, but will be sorted soon, so working on my website has not been straightforward! Moving to a new country has it’s moments 🥴 I’m still feeling excited but there is so much to do and things you’ve taken for granted need some working out here! I’ve made contact with some stunning venues and am excited about the future but need to not expect everything immediately 💕 So many people on Instagram seem to be living perfect lives but I’ll get there! I give 100% to my clients and am here for them all. Hopefully by sharing my experiences, ups and downs, clients will see that I’m a real person; a professional celebrant and someone they can rely on to provide an individual, special service for their celebration 💕 💍

So this is me and my husband 27 years ago, holidaying in Val Andre, Brittany! This weekend we made the move to France, having bought a property here! 💕 I will continue with my celebrancy, working in the UK and France. It’s a huge step moving to a different country and I’m sure there will be pitfalls along the way but life is for living and we decided to have an adventure before we are too old to enjoy it! We are feeling positive and having built my business in Shropshire I will start again using my two centres as Brittany and Bucks/Oxon as I will be returning frequently for my family and other bookings I have 💕 It’s scary but exciting! 💕 💍

How gorgeous is this photo! Many girls dream of wearing an extra special dress on their wedding day! With the restrictions in place, no one can take away that feeling when you put on that dress on your wedding day 💕 There are no rules to say you can only wear it once so why not wear it on your wedding day and if you are having a micro wedding, wear it again when restrictions allow you to have a big ‘do’! A micro wedding can still be a perfect wedding! In these difficult times, why not consider a smaller wedding then celebrate as you’d originally planned on your first anniversary? It’s such a difficult time for wedding suppliers, venues etc it’s not their fault large weddings can’t go ahead! If you need to change your plans try to work with your suppliers 💕 we need to survive Coronavirus together 💕 💍
