It’s time for After School Clubs to restart and they’ve already kicked off with a bang! For some schools it’s a change of year group, for others it’s time for Season 2.

We’ve so many engaging activities for the students to get stuck into. It’s always interesting to us how they tackle our challenges and creative tasks.

We finish our sessions with some good old show and tell in the hope that our club members will inspire each other with their great creations.

Apologies for the lack of excitement happening on the page of recent. As you know we’ve lots going on all over the place with the new Brick Barn under construction, the removal of the old one, expanding our Bricklink store, delivering after school clubs and a whole host of other things.

You can rest assured that we haven’t forgotten about Brick Box, we’re back to it today parting out more sets ready for Bricklink and party stock.

It’s always exciting digging through the pieces. It’s like panning for gold!

Today we’ve been busy getting ready for our pop up Brick Magic event in Lincoln. This was our view for lunch and we weren’t complaining.

With school sessions complete for another term here’s one of their fantastic projects exploring colours and emotion.

They were asked to pick out the colours they were most drawn to and to stick them to the board. Although it may not sound like a lot when all the boards are assembled it creates this fab bit of art that’s a reflection of all the members in our class.

Let’s see what will happen next term. We’ve lots of fun things planned 😊

As one door closes another opens. We keep moving forward 😊 head over to Haxey and have a visit before it’s too late.

🧱BIG ANNOUNCEMENT🧱

The Brick Barn as we know it is CLOSING on November 3rd. You’ve just 2 weeks to experience it in its original form.

Although this is a sad moment in some ways, not all is lost as we join forces with the new owners of Shepherd place farm to create Brick Barn Version 2.

We’ll be relocating The Brick Barn to create a whole new immersive space on site and after listening to all of your feedback over the last year you’ll be glad to know that it’ll be heated and warm.

There’ll be more details to follow over the coming weeks but as a thank you to all we’re slashing our admission price so you’ll be able to visit one more time before the barn doors are closed permanently.

Our admission for the next two weeks is as follows.

Day passes:

Adults £1.50

Adults £3

It’s National Sort Your Brackets Day!

It’s not but that’s our task for today.

First they need sorting into specific bracket types and sizes.

Second comes the colour sort and removing any damaged pieces

Finally they are listed and filed away in their relevant storage locations ready for someone to purchase.

After School Clubs are back in full flow… speaking of flow, check out this wicked water slide that one of our fab members put together during club.

They were asked to create the favourite memory from the summer holidays and this was there go to.

Not sure it would be too fun on a day like today but it was a great effort and everyone loved it.

Catching up on Bricklink orders is always a fun one. This is what happens when we “work from home” for 2 days 😂

Positive news is lots of paper work and back of house things are done.

It’s not going to be so positive for the post office customers stuck behind me in the queue 😂
