Amy & Gareth’s special day was full of beautiful tender touches and romantic moments, lots of laughter, tears (happy ones) and although the weather kept things back a little it didn’t dampen the spirits - it was so worth making some changes so that Amy & Gareth had their wish fulfilled of taking their vows at the loch side with all their family and friends present.
Michael has captured some of those wonderful moments throughout the day perfectly and am very grateful to him for sending through a preview. ❤️
Of course it wouldn’t have been possible without a fabby team and I’m so thankful to you all for your efforts and dedication…

🔸Reflections🔸
There is certainly a lot to be thankful for this year - as there is every year. I’ve been reflecting a lot and thinking about what I could have done better, we live in a World where everyone is striving for ‘perfection’ (well at least on social media) sometimes it’s easy to forget that every step matters and even small progress is an achievement.
Life is very busy and we put a lot of pressure on ourselves - I’ve learnt that taking short cuts is definitely not the answer and I’ve realised that mistakes are lessons and to not beat myself up so much - My best really is good enough!
For the last couple of days of the year cherish your memories and look to the future with hope and optimism 🥰

You’re in safe hands…
The one thing that all my previous couples’ tell me is that they didn’t have to worry at any point in their planning journey or on the day of their wedding as they knew that I would take care of every detail.
I loved working with Coleen McKay recently who trusted me to deliver on the day co-ordination for her clients the wonderful Andreea & Sean.
You would never tell that a few hours before this image was captured that they phoned me in a panic sitting in their car with a flat tyre - I transported them back to the hotel safely and took care of the car- they had plenty of time to relax and get ready before saying their vows at Eilean Donan Castle.
If you would like to marry in the Scottish Highlands and have someone based nearby who can support you, then I’d love to hear from you!

Taper Candles 🤍
My love of candles is no secret, and I have many candles in all kinds of different shapes, sizes, colours and fragrances.
My favourite for dining are taper candles - a wonderful way to inject colour to your tables and differing heights along with florals adds so much elegance.
Once lit the room is instantly transformed and creates a wonderful ambience.
These candles from ester & erik were beautiful shades of green and worked so well with the spring florals by Hands Full of Flowers😍
