Styling

2025 is all about bold colours and personal touches.

But sometimes it is so hard to know where to start with choosing colours.

My advice is to firstly look at your tastes in fashion, interiors, and travel. Very often from looking closely at your lives and your likes and dislikes it will emerge what colours make you tick and represent you. Look at the colours and patterns that surround you daily. What colours make you happy? What colour is your favourite room or jumper? The simplest meaningful objects, such as a scarf, a piece of jewellery or even a cushion, can inspire a colour palette and colour wedding ideas.

BIRTHDAY

It’s my birthday!

That funny little time between Christmas and New Year when no one knows what day it is, the fridge is still full of leftovers, and we are all recovering from too much turkey! Yep, that’s when I get to celebrate my big day.

Growing up, I always dreamed of a big, fabulous birthday cake, but instead, I’d often get… leftover Christmas cake. Don’t get me wrong, I love Christmas, but there’s only so much marzipan one person can handle! (Though, to be fair, it does save on baking time!)

Here’s to another year filled with sparkle, joy, and maybe one day, a proper non-Christmas-flavored birthday cake. Cheers to all the festive babies out there who keep the celebrations going!

COCKTAIL EVE

It’s Christmas Eve or in our house Cocktail Eve!

The stockings are hung, the presents are wrapped (just about!), and we’re ready to welcome Father Christmas down the chimmeny!

There’s something so magical about Christmas Eve—the anticipation, the whiskey ready for the main man, and that warm feeling of excitement as the big day draws near.

Now it’s time to slow down and soak it all in with a festive cocktail in hand (a little treat for the grown-ups while Santa loads up his sleigh!).
