Hip Joint Sold out again

On 26th January, Hip Joint is turning into a Speakeasy venue with a jazz keyboard and saxophone duo, Fred and Paul, to entertain us. This follows an opera house in December, a Greek Taverna in November and a Yorkshire curry house in October, all with matching entertainment from musicians and actors. January is already sold out but you can join the waiting list at www.Trybooking.co.uk/CAUO. It is worth doing this as places often come free.

WONDERFUL FOOD AND A CAPTIVATING CONCERT

This is an invitation to join us for the last Hip Joint of the year which will be on Friday December 9th at 12.30 pm in the Upper Town Hall, High Bentham.

We will be serving some warming food influenced by Northern European flavours.

It’s time to accept that winter is here (no more pretending you’re on a Mediterranean beach).
Enter a rich and warm theatre of lushness and enjoy an equally warm welcome. You will be met with a glass of Prosecco and friendly faces.

After a feast of festive flavours you can relax and let the beautiful voice of Nicola Mills flood your senses. Although she is a performer with international experience, she loves to perform in small, local venues. She has a wide-ranging repertoire and you, the audience, may have the opportunity to choose a favourite song. Her style is intimate and unique… now, that’s interesting! NOVEMBER’S HIP JOINT
Thanks to everyone who made this fun-filled escape to the Med so wonderful. The Mediterranean food and music really did create a sunny escape from a dreary November day. How could eating Spanakopita, Stifado, Greek salad, olives and much more do anything else?!

Howard Haigh was back with his fabulous guitar playing. Thanks to him, and everyone who helped before, during and afterwards. We really appreciate your on-going support. If you know something we don’t, please let us know – entertainment ideas are always welcome.
