Festive reds ♥️

Yes, we have officially reached that point in November where our Christmas planning is very much underway

Our Christmas order book is open and filling up nicely. Thank you so much to everyone who has already placed their Christmas order with us. We can’t wait to get wreathing and for all the festive foliage to start arriving at Pretty Petals HQ

Wreaths will be available from 25th November

We will be taking fewer orders this year due to our new arrival who is expected in the New Year. So please order early to avoid disappointment

Emily & Graeme
Saturday 9th November 2024

Pretty Petals had the honour and privilege of flowering the wedding for Emily and Graeme yesterday at the stunning Wennington Hall. Such a lovely couple and we hope they had the most amazing day celebrating with their family and friends. Sending massive congratulations from all us of here at Pretty Petals.

We’ve had a busy afternoon of flowering here at Pretty Petals HQ. Pollo, our four legged chief quality control officer, has been keeping a close eye on all our work making sure only the prettiest of Pretty Petals make their way out to our lovely customers this week 🥰

Hello everyone 👋🏼 we’re back 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

We’ve finally beaten the lurgy and made it out the other side!! Don’t think we appreciated how hard it would be being ill and growing a little human too 🤰🏼 but we’ve finally got there.

Thank you for bearing with us and apologies for being slow at replying to your emails and enquiries. Sarah will be working through them in the coming days so keep your eyes peeled for replies 💌

We’ve got a busy and exciting week ahead of us which we are so excited about. We can’t wait to get stuck in to some wonderful Pretty Petals creations 💐

December will be a busy one for Pretty Petals so please order early to avoid disappointment.

Traditional Christmas door wreaths will be available from week commencing 25th November 2024

Price List

Christmas spruce door wreaths - £30 (seasonal foliage wreath with festive decoration, including optional ribbon bow)

Metal star wreaths - £10 (gold star with seasonal foliage and ribbon)

Personalised star wreaths - £20 (gold star with seasonal foliage and ribbon, with initial of choice)

Christmas gift bouquets - starting from £25 (hand tied and gift wrapped bouquet of seasonal flowers and foliage, £25 for small, £35 for medium and £45 for large)

Table arrangements - price on request (seasonal foliage and flower arrangement with festive decoration, can include candles)

Advent candle arrangements - price on request

Grave tributes - price on request

Garland - price on request (seasonal foliage garland suitable for a table runner or around a fireplace)

Everything is handmade to order so please let us know if you have any specific requests, such as colour scheme or flower type. We are more than happy to tailor your order to your requirements.

We had a very VERY exciting weekend here at Pretty Petals. We’ve had a double wedding weekend which was just absolutely lovely 🥰

Firstly we had the wedding of Georgia and Benedict at St Walburg’s church in Preston. We love doing church weddings and, wow, St Walburg’s was such an impressive church to give the Pretty Petals touch to! Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Scorey. All of us here at Pretty Petals hope you had the most amazing day 🥂 and thank you for trusting us with your wedding flowers.

Then we also had a wedding to attend for the new Mr and Mrs Lea, where Sarah also had the privilege of being Britt’s bridesmaid. And what a beautiful day it was for a truly wonderful couple

Halloween is almost here 🎃 We just need to resist eating all the chocolates and sweets before the trick or treaters arrive in 2 weeks time! 🤭

We’re not choosing between a trick or a treat here at Pretty Petals this year. Everyone is getting a treat with one of our pumpkin posies. We have a limited number available so get in touch if you would like to order a floral Halloween treat this spooky season

Today, 10th October, is World Mental Health Day and all of us here at Pretty Petals are thinking of those struggling with their mental health at the moment and sending our love.

We’ve been there too; it’s not pretty, it’s relentless and it’s certainly not easy to navigate your way though. But there’s always help. And never be afraid to ask for or seek that help.

Our help came in the form of flowers. Flowers became our therapy and the perfect distraction from the horrible thoughts and feelings. From such a dark and difficult time, Pretty Petals came into being. So despite the horrible times, we wouldn’t be here today without it.

Our kettle is always on for anyone that needs it ☕️ and there is always a plentiful supply of Pretty Petals for those needing their own flower therapy.

We’ve had a busy couple of days of flower admin here at Pretty Petals HQ so hopefully anyone waiting to hear back from us has received an email from Sarah 💌 please check your junk email inboxes if you still haven’t heard from us as sometimes they find themselves in there in error.

It’s been lovely to hear from you all and hear your plans for your wedding days. We are very lucky to be involved in all things weddings and will never take it for granted that we get asked to be a part of your special day. It is such a privilege to provide wedding flowers.

Hello October

October brings a busy but exciting month for us here at Pretty Petals. We’ll be starting the month as usual with our Flower Club bunches on Wednesday, followed by the Great Northern Wedding Show on Sunday at Bolton Arena. Welcome to the weekend! 🙌🏼

We’ve got a busy week ahead of us here at Pretty Petals. Next week also brings the new month. Tuesday will be 1st October (yikes! 😮) which means Wednesday will be Flower Club time. We’ll have some autumnal delights for our Flower Club members this month so keep yours eyes peeled for what’s in store 👀

It’s Sunday 22nd September and we’re officially at the start of autumn. We’ll be celebrating the new season here at Pretty Petals with our autumn wreaths 🍁🍂

We’re a big fan of wreaths here at Pretty Petals and are big believers in having one on your door all year round, not just at Christmas. They are a perfect way to celebrate the new season.

We’ve been keeping a little secret here at Pretty Petals… 🤭

We’re busy growing a little seedling of our very own. Sarah is pregnant and the newest member of Team Pretty Petals is expected to join us in the New Year.

Christmas will be our final hoorah before we take a break for a couple of months, and whilst we work out how to keep a mini human alive - any advice much appreciated!! We will then return in time for Mother’s Day so we can create all your wonderful Mother’s Day bouquets, gifts and arrangements.

To all our 2025 couples, your wedding bookings with Pretty Petals are safe and secure. We will be there as planned with all the Pretty Petals for your big day. We might just have an extra team member in tow helping with your wedding flowers 👶🏼

Pretty Petals means so much more to us than just the flowers. Our followers are more than just followers; they’ve become our friends and our biggest support network. Thank you for being with us on this journey and thank you in advance for your support in our next, very exciting but also very daunting, chapter.

Pretty Petals HQ has gone multicoloured this week ready for a wedding and wedding fair this weekend. So much colour and so many beautiful flowers to work with. We have well and truly been spoilt by our delivery from @flower_vision_lancashire Ignore the mess of my kitchen 🫣 but it does give you a small glimpse into the reality of running a business from home!

We’re having a busy and exciting week here at Pretty Petals. So here’s a little insight into what’s going on 🤩 Yesterday we met up with the lovely Harriet from @lancasterflowerpress to talk bridal bouquets and pressed bouquets. We are planning for a wedding fair at the @royalkingsarmshotellancs this coming Sunday 12 noon until 3pm. Please come along and say hello if you’re in Lancaster on Sunday.
