Job Vacancy: Village Hall Cleaner

Are you local to Galgate and looking for a flexible job within your community? Our village hall is a bustling hub, hosting weekend events like children’s parties, Christenings, weddings, and evening celebrations. We're looking for a motivated individual to join our cleaning team.

Pay Rates:

£11.75 per hour for ages 18 and over.

£9.50 per hour for ages 16-18.

Requirements:
Ability to commute reliably to Galgate.
Available for weekend and occasional Friday shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
Set up before and clean up after events.
Work a mix of solo and team shifts (full training provided).
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Interact with hall users, so being well-presented is important (polo shirt provided).

Work Hours:
Shifts are short, lasting between 1 to 3 hours.
The earliest start time is 7am, with the latest finishing by 6pm.
Shifts are available on weekends and some Fridays.
Shifts are offered through the Deputy app, You claim the shifts you’re available to do using the app which works on any smartphone
