Just a heads up that there won't be any flowers available for the next week.
I'm off to be beside the sea. I'll reply to all emails and enquiries on my return. My plan is that my phone will only be used for taking photos of the stunning scenery. 😊

Another delicate bridal bouquet collected from the studio today. An intimate ceremony so just the bouquet and some delicate hair pieces were required. Everything was grown on the plot too (apart from the peonies)

We have lots of bouquets going out for delivery and ready for collection this week.
The plot is starting to bloom now and I'll be having a delivery of locally grown flowers arriving too.
I just need 24 hours notice to gather your flowers and give them a chance to have a good drink of water overnight.

Summer hand tied workshop
Saturday 21st June 10.30am - 12pm

To celebrate .flowers.week
I'll be running a small informal workshop here in Brookhouse.
You'll have a bucket of locally sourced seasonal flowers and herbs to delve into. I'll demonstrate how to make those into a hand tied bouquet ready to pop into a vase.
You'll then create your bouquet which is all yours to take home along with a glass vase too.
Larkspur, feverfew,cornflowers, nigella, Ammi, orleya, snapdragons and sweet peas should all be included in there along with many others.

Home made cake, of course and a brew.

Places are limited to 6 people so everyone receives all the help they need.

After all this lovely rain over the last week there should be lots of gorgeous locally grown flowers ready to cut from the plot.

Larger bouquets can be ordered through the website. Link in bio. The flower stall will be all stocked up with small pick up posies from Thursday. You don't need to preorder these, they're ready to go. There's an honesty box for payment too.

Last week I held my first 1-1 workshop in my small studio space in the garden.
It was lovely to welcome Lisa to my little hideaway where I create all the weekly bunches, bouquets, wedding flowers and also pot up seedlings!
Lisa wanted to learn some basic floristry skills and to enjoy a few hours surrounded by flowers. We created a hand tied bouquet, a summer meadow and talked a lot about flowers.It was a gorgeous sunny day so we had coffee in the garden too.
