🏆🌟WE DID IT! 🌟🏆

We’re absolutely BURSTING with excitement to share the news with you that Indigo Arts & Crafts has been awarded ‘Children’s Activity Centre of the Year 2024/25’ for Manchester and The North West! 🏆🎉

Back in October, we received an email to notify us that we had been nominated for The Prestige Awards. In November, we were delighted to hear we’d been shortlisted as a finalist by a panel of expert judges, who had the difficult task of whittling down the 67 nominations to just 12. A few months later, we received a phone call to inform us that we had won! Fast forward to the Bank Holiday Monday 26th May, when Bobbie and some of the team travelled to Birmingham to meet the judges and receive this incredible award in person! 🤝🥰

This win is a HUGE testament to the hard work, passion, and dedication of ALL of our team - and of course, the love and support from all of YOU! 💖✨ We couldn’t have done it without our wonderful families, kids, and community, who help to make every day at Indigo so special. 🙏🏻

Here’s to creating even more magical moments for all the little ones in 2025 and beyond, as we enter our 10th year! 🥳

🎨✨ What an amazing few days we’ve had at Holiday Club this week! ✂️🖌️

From nature craft to 3D woodcraft, biscuit baking to map-making, the children have been busy creating masterpieces and building brilliant creations! We’ve explored colors, textures, and imagination, making some fabulous memories with lots of children, both new and regulars along the way.

A huge thank you to all the parents for your support and to our wonderful young artists for bringing such great energy and enthusiasm! We can’t wait to see you all in summer! 💛

What a magical time we all had over the weekend for our Harry Potter Ultimate Craft Day! 🧙🏻‍♀️🪄⚡️🎉📖💭💡🎨

The children arrived at Platform 9 3/4 and spent the day on a creative journey to Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, and Diagon Alley. 🚂

They then visited Ollivander’s to make their wands, which was followed by a sorting hat ceremony, where they met their professors for the day. The second half of the morning involved some wizard duelling and making their very own chocolate frogs, boxes and wizard cards. 🍫🐸

After lunch, everyone was very excited to recreate their own version of the Marauder’s Map followed by a FaceTime from a real snowy owl! (They would have been with us in person but Storm Bert caused a few problems which prevented them from getting over to us). The last class of the day was Potions with Professor Snape, who successfully lead the children to make glow in the dark slime in cauldrons. Finally, it was time to journey back home but it wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Honeydukes for a bag of Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans and more! 🍬

Thank you so much to everyone who came along and to all my lovely staff who took on the roles of their professors wonderfully!

As part of our workshop collection and back by popular demand, we are bursting at the seams with excitement to announce our upcoming 'Harry Potter Ultimate Craft Experience Day! ⚡️🧙

Ultimate Craft days are designed to provide a high quality craft experience for children, incorporating popular themed days from the world of books 📖 and entertainment.🎞

We will be immersing ourselves from the offset, stepping into character roles and fancy dress. The children will step through the walls of Platform 9 ¾🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ for a fun-filled day of magical craft 🎨✂️✨ visiting throughout the day: Diagon Alley, Honeydukes and of course Hogwarts, where they’ll be sorted into houses before absorbing themselves on a journey from Muggle to Magic with wizarding crafts, Quidditch and a visit to the Owlery🦉 where they can meet some of these beautiful nocturnal birds.

Here are some of the magical crafty and creative activities the kids will enjoy...

Today has been filled with lots of spooky fun with a special Halloween craft day to finish off the week! Lots of children dressed up for the occasion as they made cauldrons full of slime, Halloween decorations and played party games. It’s been a truly wonderful week, thanks to everyone who has joined us and we look forward to seeing you soon at our upcoming workshops throughout the winter!

Indigo offers a whole range of creative activities for all levels from reception age. From nature art to stain-glass window biscuit baking, the Indigo Arts and Crafts activities keeps learning fun, engaging and diverse. With a wide range of DIY, decorative, and scientific arts and crafts activities, our arts and crafts ideas list is forever growing.

Indigo provides an all year round arts and crafts holiday club for children and a variety of creative workshops and events in the Lancaster and Morecambe district.
