The Neverending Glen The Kelburn Gardens party’s unique Art Trail experience set in Kelburn’s magnificent Glen.

As part of our mission to challenge expectations of what a festival can achieve, The Kelburn Garden Party is hugely excited to announce an extension this year’s experience: The Neverending Glen. This ground-breaking project sees a carefully curated selection of contemporary artists and collectives taking their first steps out of the white space of the gallery to the wide and open space of the land

and forest of Kelburn to create a visual walk, from the Walled Garden to a new performance space, the Beech Plateau, punctuated by a series of site-specific installations, sculptures, performances & workshops. The Glen shapes & draws the contours of an enhanced visual & creative experience, for artists and audiences alike. From the making of a pop-up gallery or restaurant for two in the forest, to the musical wonders of Half a Piano Cube in the walled garden, to pop-up gigs and secret parties, to the meditative walks & workshops organised along the numerous paths of the Glen – the aim is always the same: to unlock a new state of mind towards the arts, where through playfulness, something unexpected, engaging and surprising can happen. We will be opening the Festival on Thursday evening for special preview events and a launch party – anyone with a Weekend Ticket will be able to purchase a ticket for Thursday evening soon.

New venue for the Kelburn Garden Party, The Golden Trailer Collective will not only be hosting a cinema aboard the boat with the Radical Film Archive, there will also be a fashion show featuring hot design talents from Ayrshire and Ethiopia and many more cool happenings... One of Shona Hardie's birds coming to life...

Not only is Andrew Thomas Henderson working on Leviathan, the whale in the previous post, he is busy in his workshop in St Margaret's House creating an assortment of works that will find their home at The KELBURN GARDEN PARTY 2016.
