The heavy rain couldn’t dampen spirits on our 2024 Finals Day yesterday with the culmination of all those many knockout rounds and competition formats coming to a head. ⛳️🏌🏼🏌🏼‍♀️🏌🏽‍♂️ Well done to all those that made the finals as it is a great achievement in itself but congratulations to all those that won their match. 🎉 Thank you to all the match referees for giving up your morning and a special thanks to Head Pro Rob Humphrey and his team for all the organisation of the competitions and for the management on the Finals Day. Also thank you to Lew and his team for getting the course in such great condition. 🙏🏼 After the golf all finalists were treated to a wonderful 5 course lunch and prize giving. 🏆 #twgc #finalsday

Saturday was our annual Pros Day competition with this year's format as Pairs Texas Scramble. Congratulations to the team of George Stinton and Tom Waugh who won Pros Day (on countback from 3 other pairs) with a nett score of 60. 🏌🏼🏌🏽‍♂️ Congratulations also to Steve Thompson who made a hole in one on the 4th hole! ♠️🔔 Pam Tuke, Ben Cursley, Gilbert Gehrmann and Barbara Howell all won nearest the pin prizes. ⛳️ There were 12 pairs that beat the score of 65 set by Rob & Chris. The card draw was won by Anthonie Krause and Andy Murray - both winning a Ping S159 wedge. 👏 Thank you to everyone who took part in the day and a huge thank you to Head Pro Rob Humphrey and his team for a fantastic day with golf, drinks, hog-roast lunch and prizes galore! 🙏
