Not long before I head over to the Emerald Isle for the launch of the Institute of Flowers Irelands first professional association for florists. I’m teaching their first workshop which will focus on beautiful sustainable designs aimed at today’s market. I’ve got lots of ideas to work more efficiently and creatively. I can’t wait!
I’ll also be delivering a presentation on the future of floristry at the launch evening alongside a panel of fellow industry professionals.

Such a pleasure to be asked to teach this workshop in beautiful Yorkshire… Using British flowers and sustainable mechanics our group created a door way, mantle and individual design for a table scape. It’s so heartening to see so many florists embracing new mechanics and seasonality.
