STEAK NIGHT THURSDAYS

Starting next week we will be hosting a weekly steak night every Thursday where you can expect prime cuts, classic cocktails and easy listening DJs playing everything from blues, jazz, big band and more.

As we know money is tight this time of year we will be offering an 8oz flat iron steak with a sauce and hand cut chips for a bargain at £15! There will plenty of bolt-ons including veggies and extra sauces, as well as wines available by the bottle…

Happy New Year and thanks to everyone that came to eat with us in 2024! After lots of celebrating over the past week I’m ready to get back to work tomorrow with this lovely bunch. Open from 5pm and as of this week we will now be serving on Sundays too!

Korean Fried Chicken is something we take very seriously and we reckon that ours is some of the best around… Having spent two weeks roaming the chicken shops of Seoul (scroll to see some of the places we visited) we’ve tried the best in the world and have been constantly working on our own recipe for nearly 4 years. There’s nothing better to eat alongside a cold beer (and soju if you can)…

XMAS OPENING INFO

The build up to Christmas is here so if you’re planning on visiting us at over the next few weeks here is some info to keep in mind…

We are open Wednesday to Saturday as usual this week and will then be closing the kitchen for Christmas next week. We will be returning on 3rd Jan and from the new year we will also be OPEN ON SUNDAYS!!

One of the best things to eat alongside a cold beer is beef tartare and we’ve got a dead good one on the menu at the moment at . We hand cut the meat and flavour it with soy, mustard, sesame, chilli, coriander and spring onion before whacking it on top of a corn tostada and finishing it off with a jammy, soy cured egg yolk 🤤

If you fancy giving it a go we are open tonight til 9pm, then back tomorrow evening and all day Saturday!

Very excited to tell you all that we have found a new permenant home down at in Kirkstall. Having lived in the area for 4 years it’s been my favourite local since it opened and I’m proud to now call it our home! If you haven’t been down there for a drink yet it’s a super friendly gaff run by some of the soundest people in Leeds.

We’ll be announcing the opening date soon as there’s still a bit of work to be done, but we can tell you that we’ll be there every Wednesday to Saturday cooking up a menu of bar snacks and small plates. For those who are wondering, YES, we will still be doing our Korean Fried Chicken, but now we have the opportunity to spread our wings a bit and take things up a notch, so stay tuned for the menu…
