What a place to launch the start of our new brand Juiced !

A huge thank you to Distrikt for entrusting in us with such a brand new brand and event for leeds. It goes with out saying that District is such an important venue as far as the leeds nightlife is concerned. Many great names have stepped in the iconic booth and played music to a packed basement venue.

It was an absolute pleasure to host Juiced at the venue and play music on the infamous Martin Audio Ltd sound system installed. DJ-ing there is a very unique experience indeed with the very best in Pioneer DJ CDJ's, four 3000's to be precise. We were very well received and very well looked after.

I'd like to thank my business and brand partner DJ Alex Malam for all his hard work and input leading up to the event. Alex you played an amazing set and certainly brought the energy to the room.

My love and respect goes out to Al Bradley / 3am Recordings for agreeing to join us for the night and play an exceptional set on vinyl. If anybody has heard Al before then I'm sure you know his music and vibe. Ultra deep flow and an education of a set with smiles and laughter from this charming gent of a DJ.

A final note goes to our brand photographer Ozzy Markiss Photography who has captured the energy perfectly through the camera. it's an absolute delight to share this night through images with you. Live recordings will be uploading from the night and we will be posting future dates on the page very soon.

Marketing / Promotion - Al Bradley

Label boss Al Bradley got his first set of 1200s in 1991 and what was expected to be a short-lived bit of fun has gone on to be the central thread in his life. Starting out playing at parties around his home town of Manchester, Al has gone on to become an established vinyl DJ, regularly playing around the UK and Europe, regularly playing sets of up to 8 hours, which showcase his love of all things electronic.

Moving into production in 2006, Al has featured on both vinyl and digital labels worldwide, with a reputation for eclecticism and creating tracks and remixes which cover a broad range of sounds, never wanting to repeat a style or stick to a set formula and taking in influences absorbed since starting to buy electronic vinyl beats in the mid-80s

Al joins the Juiced family and will be overseeing and assisting with all marketing and promotion. Whatever we are planning and wherever we are playing Al’s going to be the guy who knows first and will be shouting about it the loudest.

I've been a professional photographer for over 20 years. Since 2015 pro dominantly York-based photographer & filmmaker with experience in commercial brands, events, and lifestyle photography.

I have expert skills and love to capture unique perspectives creating high-quality content to add value to brands' and a companies' message to the audience.

Throughout my career I have worked with companies such as Disco Daze Collective, Brew York, The Old School House and Court Yard and well known popular venues in York Vudu Lounge, Bobo Lobo cocktail bar plus many more beyond Yorkshire.

My special interest lies with commercial brands photography and videography having started in 2017.

Founder - Alex Malam

Alex Malam (born 19th September 1979) was first introduced to house music as far back as 1994 at the tender age of just 15. After visiting local nightclubs in his hometown of Stoke on Trent, Alex soon became fascinated by watching the DJ's seamlessly mix 2 records together and how they worked the dance floor crowd.

In 1997 he managed to save up enough money to buy his first set of Technics turntables and quickly gained a local residency playing at a friend's spot 'Ace of Clubs' and alongside guest DJ's such as CJ Macintosh, Allister Whitehead and Joey Negro. The night quickly became a success and saw clubbers travel from outside of the area to come hear the new exclusive choons..

Since then Alex has seen his music evolve into a New York style with elements of house, disco and all things funky, taking most of his inspiration from good friends Little Louie Vega, David Morales & Kerri Chandler. Now residing in York, he is part of the 'We Can Rise' records team and responsible for hosting a weekly Saturday night show on Jorvik Radio, from 12-2am.

You can also find Alex playing monthly residencies in Leeds & York. Alex is currently the man behind the music for the brand Impossible, as well as other clubs and festivals up and down the country.

Alex promises to bring undiscovered talent to the booth to join us at Juiced Live Events, as well as a variety of headline DJ’s.

"Every now and then we are all forced to take on a new challenge or place ourselves in new surroundings and company. Life can move at a ridiculous pace with changes taking effect in a blink of an eye".

"For me music is the answer, it holds an ominous power of colour, sound, feeling, emotion and memories - more importantly it has the ability to make time stand still".

Those who know the Yorkshire based DJ / Producer know to expect the unexpected. His inspired DJ sets and music are certainly out of the ordinary. Msolnusic’s productions either go one way or the other, with no set genre being a rule. Mat’s productions range from Disco, Soulful House, Lush Soundscapes, Electronica or his tougher approach of Jackin House, Tech House & Deep Hypnotic Territory. One things for sure he has a broad & creative musical mind.

Msolnusic’s productions are closely matched by intoxicating DJ-ing performances, either providing the audience with unique deep flavours of Tech & Progressive House or his approach takes on a Lazy Nu-Disco, Funk, Soulful & Down Tempo vibe. A bit of a technological virtuoso.

Mat has amassed a large catalogue of releases with labels all over the world from London, Paris, Chicago, Miami, Ibiza, South Africa and more. His productions have seen collaborations & remixes with international artists & producers from the likes of Scott Diaz / Tony Lionni / Demarkus Lewis / Dan Laino Music / Micronoise / The Stoned / Al Bradley - DJ / Q Narongwate / HUGEhands / Deephope / Markiss K***s / Kanedo / Chanknous / MiNNt Edit / EasyRider / Northern Barrier / Slope114 / The Sunchasers / Lesny Deep / Alexny to name but a few.

Mat aims to find the perfect place for each party and will be working continuously with venues in leeds to host Juiced Live Events.
