Jamie headed over to Scarborough for a double whammy at the start of the month, lighting up both Dexys and the Fortress Festival at Scarborough Spa.

He added our 4 way Molefay blinders, Ayrton Diablos and hazers to the Scarborough Spa rig to add some heavy metal punch.

We took a trip to Ayrton’s Paris factory to see its demo room and new fixtures.

Now, we're doing our best to be patient as we look forward to receiving our Argo 6 FX - a weather-sealed effects luminaire - at the end of the month!⏳

Delighted to help Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra light up the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Hall last night.

Our team brought in an array of high-quality lighting equipment, including the ROBE lighting MegaPointe and LEDBeam 150, Ayrton Diablo and Professional UK R2X, complemented by Unique Hazers and Antari AF-3 DMX fans.

We also supplied a skilled technician to set up and support their lighting designer, Chris Curran, ensuring a super visual experience!

This time last year, we were delighted to support Ghost The Musical at the Theatre Royal Wakefield!

When lighting designer designforlive - Ben M Rogers recently got in touch with us while planning for Graziano Di Prima’s fabulous 'Believe: My Life On Stage' tour, we were more than happy to help out!

This time last year, Leeds Beckett University officially opened its new Leeds School of Arts - an £80million state-of-the-art building for creators, working in architecture, design, fashion, music, film and performing arts. 🎉

We loved supporting the transformation of the News room at the royalarmouries in Leeds into a participatory theatre setting for the recent Tribe Arts Tribe Talks Partition @ 75 event.

The live event took the audience on a journey from pre-partition India to present-day Britain, following the lives of those affected by the largest migration of human beings in history and the origins of multiculturalism.

From a performance floor to customised gobos, drapes to projection screens, PA systems to lighting, we helped things run seamlessly – all powered from 13amp sockets!

Great to work with Eight Engines and its live filming team.

Earlier this month, we provided full production for the annual Coeo event, Elevating Collections, which was even bigger and better than last year. 🎉

We transformed The Met Hotel in Leeds into a dynamic hub of interaction with an impressive 6m x 4m LED wall and a comprehensive AV setup that seamlessly integrated live feeds. The addition of elegant white Trevira drapes provided a sophisticated backdrop.

We also provided full PA with a Behringer mixer, Brooke Beta speakers, lectern, radio and handheld mics. While a custom cover Catchbox injected an element of fun into the lively Q&A sessions.

Add in TV screens, CHAUVET Professional UK Freedom uplighters, LED pixel bars, Phantom 50 movers and the ever reliable Source 4 profiles for stage highlighting and the stage was set for a successful event.

A special shout-out to the fit-up team who started at 2am ensuring everything came together nicely. 😴✨

Can't believe a week has flown by since the fantastic Yorkshire Businesswoman Awards last Friday!

It was such an honour for Production Light & Sound to be chosen as the official technical sponsor of the Awards, which showcased amazing female talent and entrepreneurship in Yorkshire.

We not only provided an all female production crew for this event but added to the venue’s colourful uplighting with a starcloth backdrop, Ayrton Diablos, Phantom 50s and CHAUVET Professional UK Freedom Quad pars.

We also provided full PA including handheld and lectern mics for presentations and a package of Sennheiser headset mics and in-ear monitors for the fabulous band.

😊Sarah and Leann had the pleasure of attending a knowledge-sharing event at Salts Mill today, organised by Bradford 2025 - the UK City of Culture.

🌱 As sustainability champions, we were thrilled to engage with industry professionals from across Yorkshire, facilitated by , the sustainability partner for both LEEDS 2023 and Bradford 2025, and Spirit of 2012.

💡 During the event, we showcased our partnership with Green Voltage and the innovative use of its electric battery generators, outlining the PLS commitment to sustainable practices in event production.

🗣️We were also honoured to join a panel discussion alongside representatives from SAIL, as well as the Bradford and Leeds production teams, exploring avenues for collective sustainability efforts.

💪🏽Bradford is gearing up to deliver a sustainable UK City of Culture in 2025, embedding eco-friendly practices in their events programme and organisation-wide!
