GOTH PROM LINEUP 🗣️🖤🫀🦇⁉️

DJ Orpheus (he/him):
As a Goth and Darkwave DJ, Orpheus' journey began with a deep appreciation for the darker, more atmospheric side of music. Drawing inspiration from genres like post-punk, Goth, and synthwave, Orpheus honed their craft in creating immersive and evocative soundscapes that resonate with the audience on a profound level. Their sets are carefully curated to take listeners on a journey through the shadows, blending haunting melodies with pulsating beats to create a unique and captivating experience.
Whether playing at clubs, organizing events, or sharing their mixes online, Orpheus' passion for Goth and Darkwave music shines through, connecting with those who find solace and inspiration in the dark scene. Their dedication to the scene and ability to create a sense of community through music make them respected figure in the Goth and Darkwave world, leaving a lasting impact on all who have the pleasure of experiencing their sonic creations.

Siân (Act, she/her):
Slinking out of the depths of gothic Whitby, this curvy raven-haired temptress has been haunting the burlesque scene for over a decade, performing all over England with her own brand of dark sensuality.

KIT E MEAN (Act, it/he/she):
Katy Minne is a glamorous creature from outer space: energetic, funny and extremely strange and luckily she crashed her spaceship in Leeds and started performing! Expect a routine that is simultaneously bizzare, confusing and joyfully camp with lots of twists and turns and fantastical elements- something for everyone you’d hope!

Brendon Urine (he/she):
A dirty, dykey, disastrous demon thing who promises not to be gentle. Brendon Urine is your closeted emo self’s biggest fantasy. So scream if you want to go faster & let’s hope you can stay in one piece once he’s got his claws on you!

Siren (Act, she/her):
The new wave banSHE all the way from Birmingham, Siren has been a growing name within the West Midlands, and an Instagram activist against fascism. One of the founding members of Drags Against Fascism and child of the alternative House of Divergence, she's here to mystify and charm with her unique style and allure.

DJ Shaking Like Milk (She/They):
An 80’s TRAD GOTH who resides in Leeds’ catacombs, known as DJ Shaking Like Milk. Boys Don’t Cry owner and DJ. They explore the 80s nostalgia and macabre sounds when incorporating their sets together focusing on bringing underground sounds to get local goths to blend into the darkest frequency of love…

Kärma (Co Host, They/Them):
Hey I’m Kärma, the vampire kunt from Leeds here to guard the doors to the bat cave once again. Can’t wait to see you there 🖤🦇

Jude (Photographer, They/Them):
the wild gothjorts short commonly known as jude, is a creature from the undiscovered plains of ls6. they can be naturally found in basement venues. the wild gothjorts often has a camera in their hands and will document the happenings of their habitats.
people are advised to approach with caution as the gothjorts may take your picture. Be aware, they will bring their rat.

Goth City Promotions are proud to present:

'Black Pilgrimage' - 8 of the best goth and dark alternative acts, in Boom Leeds, one of Leeds' best underground venues.

Friday sees West Yorkshire post-punk legends 1919 headline, with special guests Rome Burns and The Black Riders Cult, and on Saturday goth rock titans Inkubus Sukkubus headline with special guests Westenra, Deathtrippers, Palindrones, and
Decommissioned Forests.

Both nights will feature a club night until late featuring DJs Shaking Like Milk and Orpheus, the teams behind Leeds goth clubnight BOYS DON'T CRY .

Expect a rite of passage into the best of contemporary UK goth, and a pilgrimage to the dark heart of the West Yorkshire alternative scene.

All proceed to go towards the Goth City 2024 appeal for PAFRAS (Positive Action For Refugees & Asylum Seekers).
