Save Cosmic Slop with Floating Points !
This event is being held in partnership with Leeds-based MAP Charity and Cosmic Slop, who both need your support!
Launched in 2009, MAP Charity's primary aim is to provide alternative education for local children at risk of exclusion from the mainstream school system. Roughly a quarter of funding for MAP comes from legendary Cosmic Slop, the revered in-house club night that counts the likes of Gilles Peterson, Mafalda and Caribou as regular bookings.
Both MAP and Cosmic Slop now face an uncertain future as a recent planning application threatens the viability of events at the Charity's home, Hope House.
This is a free event* but we're asking all ticket holders to lend their support to this excellent cause and sign the petition to save MAP and Cosmic Slop! (Link to petition in bio).
