Will be sad to see The Cockpit go, it's served as a Leeds venue catering to many breaking bands which have since gone on to succeed and even return as main acts: GLASVEGAS, THE TWANG and THE SUNSHINE UNDERGROUND etc...

Also we are grateful to The Cockpit for allowing N3M to present our own gigs there. Such as an unforgettable yet very busy midweek belter, which had Chris Moyle's plug the event on his BBC Radio 1 show.

Yet Steve Lamack also on Radio 1 give The Realie's main support act, local lads The Pipers new Medicine Cupboard EP track Hallelujah a play on his show, not long after it came off the press near the time they lent main support to Paul Weller in their home town of Keighley.

Anyway at The Cockpit in Leeds N3M proudly presented an outstanding indie rock line up...

Hi everyone and those who're especially into Shine wondering why i've been quiet on here. Well a long overdue operation had to be tended to therefore leaving me tucked up in bed recovering over a 5 week period from the much needed surgery i under went. I can quite honestly say i'm well on the way back to feeling better again, my strength is somewhat begining to re surface :-)

Plus me and Caine have still been hard at it, shaping next years events, so to your surprise we anticipate the Shine Leeds return down at The Warehouse Leeds will be a right return indeed and expect nothing but a bang with the line ups ahead waiting to strut their magical stuff. If you think this year has been quite an amazing 2013 well know this... The team at HQ have prepared 2014 to be completeley off the charts as per. Your expectations are expected to be exceeded..... AGAIN!!!!

So until the announcement is out just after New Year, hold onto your britches and expect to hear nothing other than out of this world quality talent are on board for what are quality Shine events, see you in 2014!!

Mick Roberts frontman of Bridewell Taxis / The Bridewells and Home is releasing a boxset of his lifetimes work, around 60 songs with videos, unseen footage, unheard sessions etc including the John Peel Sessions. Cracking artwork new and old, collectable posters, all the lyrics, photos. You name it, it's there!!
