Good Morning - so this will be the final post on this page i am afraid. Due to major operation and remaining ill health i have made the difficult decision that EC&B has closed permanently. I haven't taken any bookings for a good while now, in fact the last wedding i did was last year for very good friends of mine, right before i went in for spinal surgery. Therefore i will be selling all of my stock as soon as i have put an inventory together.

Thank you for all your continued support, messages and for all your bookings that we have completed. It has been a blast but all good things come to an end i am afraid.

Hope you have had a fab xmas. Coming in 2022 are our new products including gorgeous romantic greenery and white floral arch (other colours can also be added to match your wedding) and our gold stands for maximum impact floral centerpieces. Here are our new products (2 gorgeous Neon Signs) we will be exhibiting at Hornington Manor on Tues 12th between 6 and 9pm. They look equally as good on a woodland backdrop or on a sparkly sequin backdrop. Please enquire about these by messaging us for a quote. They can also be added to a twinkle backdrop too. Never thought I would be writing this but we DID A WEDDING yesterday. It was very strange and we felt way out of practice but have to admit that the small weddings are really lovely and feel very intimate. We were at Weetwood Hall Estate for the much waited for wedding of Michala and Jonathan. Not the wedding they had planned but still beautiful all the same. Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Walker. Hope you had the best day. X######x

Good evening everyone. I hope you are enjoying your bank holiday. I am sure it will be a much different holiday this year for us all. We are living in quite a difficult world at the moment. But I just wanted to pop on to say hello and to say I hope you are all safe and well. Fingers crossed that our industry can get back doing what we all love very soon. Take care everyone. Elegant Covers and Bows were in Bradford today at Clarion Cedar Court Hotel Bradford for the wedding of Janine & David who booked us to provide them with our 5ft rustic LOVE letters, twinkle backdrop with matching top and cake table skirts for the daytime and then in the evening we provided them with a photobooth and last minute surprise for the groom of dry ice for the "dancing on clouds" effect for their first dance. 29th June we were back at our home from home Kings Croft Hotel for the wedding of Emily & Antony in the Kings suite. Saturday evening saw us at Rogerthorpe Manor Hotel with our LED dancefloor and enclosed photobooth for the wedding of Rachel & John. What an amazingly down to earth lovely couple they were. Friday 21st June saw us at a new venue for us which was Healds Hall Hotel for the wedding of Kathryn & Steve. The couple booked our light up MR & MRS letters, chair covers with purple sashes, aisle runner with purple and ivory petals, silver sequin table runners and our martini vases with florist arrangements on top. Friday 31st May saw us at one of the first venues we ever did way back in 2014 when we bought the business - The Bridge Hotel and Spa, Wetherby. We were there for the wedding of Sarah & Marc who had booked us to provide our 5ft 2" rustic wooden light up LOVE letters for the daytime and to return in the evening to install a twinkle dancefloor for the evening entertainment. Me and the hubby are taking a well earned break from tomorrow and are off on our first holiday in 4 years (so as you can imagine it is much needed) and back on 25th. Therefore we may reply while away but are going to try and not work for 7 days so we can enjoy the sun and relax. Monday is a very unusual day for a wedding but this was no ordinary wedding. We met the bride and groom almost 2 years ago at a wedding fayre so it has been a long time coming. We provided for them their chair covers and navy organza bows, 2 of our ivory blossom trees, 2 copper candles and a rustic postbox. (Floral decor, and bouquets provided by the fabulous Mel at Passion Flowers Wedding & Event Florist's which was all absolutely breathtaking).
