Hey!👋🏻 Here's my face and a little update for you! We're currently away in Marbella on our first two week summer holiday since our honeymoon (eight years ago!). It's incredibly hot, maybe even too hot but it feels so good to be taking a break during the busiest time of year. I'm so grateful to be able to enjoy time with my family and continue to run a business that I love 🩷

I'm getting quite a few enquiries at the moment, with new bookings confirmed for 2025! The genuine feeling of happiness when I receive a new enquiry never fades, thank you to those lovely couples that have recently booked me to support them with their wedding plans ✨

A huge thank you also to all of my wonderful couples so far this year. You have all been so kind and grateful which means more than you'll ever know! 😍 2024 brings four more weddings (I still have capacity for winter coordinations just fyi 🙋🏻‍♀️), then I'll be scaling it back a little for 2025 to factor in my new PT business and family life.

A&L🩷 Words cannot describe how stunning your wedding was at the weekend, what a truly beautiful day! Thank you so much to for sharing the sneak previews, it was so lovely to finally work with you ✨

Thanks to the lush weather all of the plans went ahead, including an unforgettable boat trip with for all guests and leading guests from the church to Borrowdale Institute.

What an absolute pleasure to coordinate such a memorable day for the loveliest couple and family. You also win the award for having the most amount of homemade meringues on a dessert table, I'll be dreaming about those bad boys for a long time! A super busy day but most definitely a wedding I will cherish for a long time 🥰

Thank you to each and every supplier involved, it was so lovely working with you all!

June 🩷 What a busy, fun and fabulous month! Three beautiful weddings, a sunny few days in Marbella, new planning clients on board, site visits, a serious amount of admin and the launch of SCW Training & Coaching✨

It's a busy time with the two businesses but I'm getting the hang of balancing both and enjoying the challenges along the way 🙌🏼

July is set to be another busy month with two weddings, logistical admin for my August weddings, supporting my planning clients and PT studio life 💪🏼 We're also heading back to Spain for two whole weeks to spend some quality time together as a family 🌞

Work life balance has been a huge thing for me this year, particularly with Mabes starting school and the additional business. My calendar is now limited to three weddings a month as this allows me to have at least one weekend off, to enjoy slow days in the garden with family, see friends and feel rested has been incredibly refreshing. I love to work and have always had a very positive work ethic but living your life is also important 🩷

On that note I'm off to enjoy a day out in Sheffield, Happy Sunday! 👋🏻

I have such fond memories of coordinating K&J's wedding back in September 2022. The most gorgeous autumnal tones, chilled vibes and a truly unique & fun filled day 🙌🏻

Last weekend was all about The Lakes, with a wonderful trip to Keswick to enjoy some quality time together child free (highly recommend Lodore Falls, it was stunning! 😍) and a gorgeous site visit in Borrowdale ahead of A&L's beautiful July wedding 🩷

Having the opportunity to plan and coordinate weddings across the UK that offer stunning surroundings in unique locations is why I love my job! Each and every single wedding I'm part of enables me to broaden my supplier network, strengthen my experience and above all else... work with the most amazing couples who want their special day to be incredibly personal with zero restrictions so that they can plan their day, their way ✨

2024 is set to be a very exciting year with lots of stunning weddings and a new business venture on the horizon, exciting times ahead! 🙌🏻

This week is all about Mabes 🩷

The Easter holidays are upon us which means my working hours will change slightly over the next couple of weeks. It's a busy time but having the flexibility to change my hours and work it around family time is something I'm so grateful for ✨

I'll still be working away and responding to enquiries, most likely at the crack of dawn and late evening to ensure I'm still supporting my lovely couples and keeping on top of everything. So feel free to get in touch, it's always lovely to hear from you! 💌

I just love being back in the Yorkshire Dales, it's a gorgeous reminder of all the couples I have supported over the years with so many fond memories since my first Burnsall coordination in 2017 (R&C 🥹)

2024 is set to be a very exciting year with enquiries still coming in! ✨ 2023 was the busiest year for last minute bookings. Thankfully the majority I was able to accommodate, but it's always so gutting when I'm already booked as I genuinely get so excited by every single enquiry that pops into my inbox 💌

Back to work this week! ✨ Mabel is back at school today and my normal working hours can resume (until the next school holiday....)

I've absolutely loved the festive break but there's just something so exciting about a brand new year, setting goals etc. Yes I'm that typical individual who is mega positive in January and buys into the whole "new year, new me" mindset 🙋🏽‍♀️ Goals are set, copious of notebooks purchased and hopeful for another fun packed year ahead! 🙌🏼

2023... Another fabulous year! ✨

Thank you to every single one of my couples for being so kind, grateful and believing in me to ensure you had the most wonderful wedding days ❤️ From coordinations, to full plans in gardens, village halls, venues, farms and fields; it's been an incredible year!

2024 is set to be another fabulous year ahead, supporting clients in sunny Yorkshire, Newcastle, The Lake District and Northumberland to name a few. After six years of running my own events business, I still count my blessings that I get to call this 'work' 🥹

A much needed walk this afternoon, surrounded by nature and listening to my favourite music 🍂 It's moments like this that make me realise how important it is to slow down and enjoy the little things in life. Most definitely my mantra for 2024 ✨

I feel very absent on my business socials at the moment, but that's ok. I often feel that there is a need to be present all of the time, particularly on a business platform as otherwise you fear people will think you've disappeared. But unless I have something to say, I prefer to post when it feels right 💗

I'm still here (hey! 🙋🏽‍♀️) and planning lots of exciting celebrations, as well as working through my PT qualification and gearing up for Christmas. My last wedding of the year is in the beautiful city of York in just two weeks time, my season then starts again in March - exciting times!
