"We have a minimum £10 card spend rule. Although we have flexibility - we're happy to set up tabs that can be settled later (just need a card or id).
£10 is flexible, so if someone buys 2 drinks that come to say £8.50 we can put that through.
People often maybe buy 2 or 3 drinks. Have the first poured & then we give them a receipt which they can redeem later."

Safety: PuppiGutz is committed to making these events safe and fun for everyone. Any issues on the night please speak to me (slide 3) or .n.non on the door. Any unsafe/threatening behaviour will not be tolerated. Please be mindful of pronouns as well! Myself, Shan, Isa and Rowan (bughotel) all use they/them pronouns.

If there are any accessibility issues, please let me know ASAP and I'll see what I can do! Please note there is no parking available outside the venue - there is a council car park on Burley road about 5 mins walk away.

Press release: PuppiGutz presents PuppiTearz, the first monthly PuppiGutz gig at The Fox and Newt. Inclusivity and well matched/shaped lineups are priorities for us and we’re very excited to present this all non-binary/female-fronted lineup of beautiful dream-pop/folk/bedroom-pop to make u cry.

This is one of three different nights that will alternate each month - PuppiTearz (dream-pop/bedroom-pop/lofi/folk/acoustic), NoiziGutz (alternative/indie/post-punk/shoegaze), and RoboGutz (electronic/experimental/dance/noise).

The running order for these events will be kept TOP SECRET - trying to make the showcase-style gig format fairer for artists and give them the crowd they deserve.

First monthly gig at the Fox & Newt. These will be split between lineups like this one to make u cry, noisier band-ier lineups, and electronic/experimental lineups (PuppiTearz, NoisiGutz and RoboGutz?). I'm also testing an idea to try and make these showcase-style lineups fairer for artists (and more fun) - the running order will not be announced... at all.

Gig Review: A rendition of Earthly music
The recent PuppiGutz showcase at the much-loved Hyde Park Book Club delivered an unforgettable evening of music from a diverse array of genres. First on were the extra-terrestrial art punks Kiosk, whose wobbly bass and cutthroat guitar tones transport the audience to a futuristic planet full of… Following their mesmeric performance, the genre-bending Draags took to the stage captivating the audience with their fusion of jazz, funk, punk, rock, prog, and who else knows. Their neon pink attire, use of brass instruments, and forceful stage presence combined with the frontperson’s insane falsetto made an unforgettable performance. Rounding out the evening was the symbiote that is Rushbonds, whose vibrant and emotional set provided perfect closure for the evening. Tracks such as Football and Close But No Cigar show just how diverse Rushbonds sound can be while staying true to themselves. Together these three artists created a transcendent experience in celebration of LGBT+ artistry and talent.
