Artist Spotlight - Jack C 👤

Hailing from the North East, JACK-C is a fresh and exciting prospect and has already cemented himself as a one to watch within the music industry.
Primarily focusing on production, his signature sound is made up of wonky, bone-shaking basslines and skippy, heavily swung garage style drums. Gaining support from industry heavyweights such as Enzo Siragusa, Skream, Josh Baker, Truly Madly and tINI, there’s no stopping Jack as he looks to push further in 2025 and see where his music can take him.
Also a successful DJ, Jack has played some of the most respected venues and cities in the UK, notably making his Leeds debut a few weeks ago playing a peak time set at Distrikt. Having supported the likes of DXNBY, Alisha, Gaskin, Marsolo and Max Dean, Jack is no stranger to the big stage - a place perfect for his carefully crafted productions.

Jack’s track “On License” is the perfect finale to wrap up our 5 Year Anniversary VA, a high energy garage beat that brings all 6 tracks together but also leaves the listener itching for more..

Artists Spotlight - Brad McGuigan 👤

Brad McGuigan is a rising DJ/producer from Hampshire with a sound rooted in underground 90’s house, minimal vibes, and rolling grooves. Still relatively fresh to the DJ and production scene, Brad has been diligently crafting his unique style in the studio, gaining early support from notable names such Ben UFO, Neverdogs, Jentzen, and Us Two. With his dedication and distinctive approach, Brad is definitely one to watch for the future.

Artist Spotlight: Sansome 👤

Sansome is a Manchester-based producer and DJ, also known as one of the founders of Lacuna Recordings. Formerly part of the duo PSTW, he gained recognition with releases on prominent labels such as Elrow and Surge, while gracing stages at renowned venues across the UK and Europe.

Transitioning to a solo career in late 2023, Sansome made a significant impact with his debut EP on In The Know, followed by SelectA records and the launch of his Frisky Discs series. As we head into 2025, Sansome is gearing up for a series of exciting new releases and gigs that promise to showcase his unique blend of ‘90s influences, euphoric ambience, and modern groove, characterized by hypnotic basslines that take listeners and dance floors on an otherworldly journey.

The next track on our upcoming release comes from Ableton addict, Roots. A dynamic DJ and producer with a passion for pushing the boundaries of electronic music.

As the A&R for Rendr Records, Roots has cultivated a reputation for discovering groundbreaking talent, alongside playing at some of the UK’s most renowned clubs.

His residency on Bloop London introduced countless listeners to his sound, as well as his tracks that have made waves on Bandcamp, with several releases already capturing international attention and many more lined up this year. His productions carry a distinct flair that resonate his passion for music, one beat at a time.

Lauren Steel is a London-based DJ and producer known for her groove-driven sets that blend Tech House and Minimal Deep Tech. Lauren has graced some of the city’s most iconic venues, including Studio 338, Ministry of Sound, and Joshua Brooks in Manchester.

In the past year, she marked a significant milestone with her debut release on Moxy Muzik, showcasing her production style and solidifying her presence in the underground music scene.

As her reputation grows both in the studio and behind the decks, Lauren is evolving as an exciting force within the world of electronic music.

Artist Spotlight - Mickey BP 👤

Based in Warrington, Mickey BP is a house DJ and producer drawing inspiration from Sidney Charles, Darius Syrossian, and Nate S.U. With a passion for delivering authentic house music, Mickey BP co-founded Vivid Records with Celdred, a label that has become a platform for showcasing their innovative sound. His releases, including Boss Man, E-Phono, Daft Funk, and Feel It, have gained recognition for their deep grooves and driving beats, with support from Josh Baker, Reeshy, Skream, Jentzen, ADR and many more.

Mickey BP aims to bring a fresh perspective to the house music scene through his productions and sets. His upcoming track with us will mark his first release outside the guise of Vivid Records, signaling an exciting new chapter in his musical journey. With plenty more in store for 2025, both Mickey BP and Vivid Records hope to continue making an impact in the electronic music scene.

Today marks 5 years since our first ever event 🤯

We just wanted to take this time to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been involved in our journey so far. Whether you’ve been part of our mix series, released music with us, played at one of our parties or let us host at your venue, thank you 🙏🏼

From DJ’ing at Distrikt with masks on through Covid to booking some of our favourite artists in the industry, it truly has been an unforgettable journey!

Elevation 020: Andizz

Up next on our mix series we have East Midlands DJ & Producer Andizz. For those of you that don’t know, Andizz is the founder of an event brand that has brought a unique party experience to Northamptonshire, Leicester, and London.

With a wealth of experience behind the decks, he has played in cities like Birmingham, Leeds, and Manchester, sharing the stage with industry heavyweights including Murphy’s Law, Skream, Stef Davidse, Rennie Peters, and Alexandria.

Initially influenced by the tech house sphere, Andizz has since broadened his sound to embrace underground house, techno, garage, and breakbeat.
Expect a deep, groovy blend of cutting beats and driving rhythms, with his sets often drawing inspiration from the sounds of Enzo Siragusa, Easttown, Prozak, Traumer, and Burnski, which can be heard throughout this mix.
