This year’s Earth Day centres around the pressing issue plastic poses on the environment. 🌎

We wanted to highlight some of the shocking stats about plastic pollution.

If you want to use less plastic? You can start here:
✅ Use a reusable coffee cup and reusable water bottles
✅ Opt for plastic-free washing detergents like Smol
✅ Say no to plastic cutlery and carry a set
✅ Avoid cling film and use beeswax wraps instead

Remember, every little bit counts! By making these simple switches, we can all work together to reduce plastic pollution.

We're excited to share a project we recently completed for our friends at wearesyn!

This eye-catching Adidas Golf store in Soho, London, features a unique blend of:

👉 Playful prints & props: We created a fun and inviting atmosphere with custom graphics and quirky elements.

👉 Sustainable Xanita storefront: The shop front is crafted from Xanita board, an eco-friendly alternative to traditional materials.

👉 Direct-to-carpet printing: The eye-catching floor features vibrant graphics printed directly onto a green exhibition carpet using swissQprint technology with spot white ink for added pop.

We love the result!

We've recently printed and installed vibrant and colourful signage for Kentmere Community Centre in Seacroft. 🎨

Designed by Harry van de Bospoort and project managed by David Shackleton.

The graphics were one of the first jobs we printed on the swissQprint Nyala 4! The gradients look smooth, and the colours are vivid. 🌈

A job well done!

🍽️ Last year, we received an urgent inquiry from Greencore, a food and beverage manufacturing company. They needed to transform an interior space for their innovation day.

Our incredible designers developed 4 design concepts for food-themed backdrops in a rapid timeframe.

As it was a temporary event, we suggested a free-standing Xanita wall using our ExhiBox concept. There is one wall with each set of graphics held on by magnets, so they were quick for the staff at Greencore to swap on the day with no need for an installer. 🔧

The great thing about ExhiBox is that they can pack it down and store it for future events.

We’re off to a great start in 2024 because we've been shortlisted for two awards at the PrintWeek Awards! 🌟

Our ExhiBox concept has made it to the finals in the Innovation of the Year category, and we're also vying for the Wide Format Printer of the Year title.

We recently collaborated with wearesyn. to create and deliver impressive seeding boxes for the new Dr. Martens14xx brand. 🌟

On this project, we also had the pleasure of working with Claire Langston at Hatch Design and Build.

Here's what we did:
👉 We printed directly on heat-sealed silver vacuum shrink bags and pre-cut double-sided steel tags for this project.
👉 The bags, which contained the new boots, were vacuum-packed and sealed using our frequency welder.
👉 Finally, the packaged boots were shipped globally to influencers in boxes along with small info cards.

The printed products showcase the capabilities of the new Nyala 4 swissQprint, allowing us to offer unique and customised items for our clients.

It's a job well done. 👍
