A new floristry first for me was helping a bride create her own wedding bouquet and buttonholes. It was such a lovely evening and a few family members came along to help.
The theme was a bold palette of spring flowers featuring daffodils, parrot tulips, snapdragon, roses, alchimelia and beautiful iris.

This week I was asked to create a funeral spray for a much loved Nana. The family requested purples including some tulips. I love the close up photo, it shows the mix of textures and shades from lilac to mauve to deepest Cadbury purple. My thoughts are with her family and thank you for choosing me for this tribute. I love creating these sprays, and whilst a loss is never a happy occasion it's way to honour and celebrate a life.

Morning all! A few people have enquired about Christmas wreaths this year, so my order book is now open. Fresh wreaths made with local foliage, christmassy decorations and natural materials. The standard size are £25, deluxe are £40. Please send me a message if you would like to order one. I'll add a few examples from last year, but I'm happy to do any colour scheme.
We are also adding a couple of extra dates onto our Christmas wreath making workshops at The Resident in Morley. I'll add those later in the week.

This Summer I had the absolute pleasure of creating the wedding flowers for one of my lovely neighbours. She chose a dusky pink/mauve/ lilac scheme and I created loose, rustic bouquets and jam jars for the tables. Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs and thank you for sharing these photographs.

Way back in June (during our last heatwave) I had the absolute privilege of providing wedding flowers for a lovely couple. Having known the bride for many years it was extra special for me. She chose beautiful white peonies and roses for the bouquets and buttonholes. Table decorations were a mix of jars with an English country garden/ wild flower theme.

It's been a while since I've posted due to life whizzing by at 100mph, but today I had a wedding and actually took a few photos I'd like to share. This scheme has been done before, but it's a little bit different every time: dusky pink, mauve and lilac. These are the bouquets and buttonholes (hopefully I'll have some photos of the table decorations soon).

This week I was asked to create a funeral spray for a beloved Uncle. It's a real privilege to be asked to make these tributes and the brief was colourful, seasonal flowers. In my mind I wanted to use a mixture of flowers and textures to make the spray look as if it were made with flowers from a beautiful garden.

As Easter approaches I have 3 of these gorgeous wicker wreaths for sale. They are most suited to indoor use and are approximately 10 inches in diameter. They are £14 each and would make a beautiful table decoration.
I also have 3 bunches of dried flowers, just £6 each.
Finally, these beautiful pansies are just £1 per plant or 3 for £2 (baskets not included, they are just in plastic plant pots).

This weekend I was really fortunate to be invited to The Resident Bar in Morley to hold a wreath making workshop. Working in partnership with Crank Cottage Christmas Trees I proceeded to teach a group of novices how to make their very own door wreath. The ladies were absolutely brilliant! These were their beautiful creations 🌲💐

Evening all. It's that time of year again, I'm heading out to the garage tomorrow to begin Christmas flowers. It begins with door wreaths of course. Evening everyone. Sorry it's been a while, but I've now officially got my order book open for Christmas door wreaths. I have a few in already, so please don't worry if you've already contacted me.
I'll share a few examples so you can see the style of them, but feel free to make requests.
The standard size will be £25 and deluxe will be £40. I know that this is a price increase, but unfortunately everything has gone up this year. The wreaths do last for 4/5 weeks on your door and look fabulous for the festive season.

Last weekend it was really lovely to create this bouquet for an extremely relaxed and patient bride. It was a long wait for them to get married, but I was thrilled to provide bouquets, buttonholes and venue flowers and be able to say "congratulations "!
