Hello. Its Katie here, it’s is around this time last year that I got to ring the bell that signalled the end of my breast cancer treatment after a harrowing and hopeful two year journey. To celebrate this milestone it is time for me to show my gratitude and give back by raising funds for Cancer Research UK. As some of you know I’m part of the ACE - Aylestone Community Events and we are planning a very special fundraising evening on Saturday 5th October at The Firs in Aylestone - it’s an 80s night so don your leg warmers, bracelets and frilly skirts and join us for a fun evening of socialising, karaoke & lots of dancing. Tickets will go on sale next week. I’d love for you to join me.
