I photographed Nasdaq’s Future of the Boardroom event at Searcys at the Gherkin—an early start, but well worth it. The panel explored the growing role of AI in the boardroom, something I’ve got a real interest in, so it was great to listen in.

The Gherkin is one of my favourite buildings. Designed by Lord Norman Foster with the event space being set across the 39th and 40th floors, it’s a venue I used to look at with hopeful eyes. When I landed my first job there, it felt like a turning point in my career—and I always remember that feeling when I go back.

I’ve been on their approved supplier list for years now and remain very grateful for every recommendation that comes my way.

Tired of soulless roadside hotels? Here’s a better way to work and unwind…

I had a couple of shoots in Kent last week and instead of booking the usual Travelodge on an A-road, I took a different approach. Packed the car, brought my wife and son along, and stayed the night at .

It was the perfect mix of comfort and nature—peaceful, homely, and a real change of pace. The setting was stunning, and it gave us time together that we wouldn’t have had otherwise.

If you’re ever working (or holidaying) in Kent, I honestly recommend checking them out.

I wasn’t commissioned to shoot this, but sometimes you’ve just got to follow the light.

After finishing a project in Leicester city centre, I passed by the newly completed extension at Leicester Cathedral. The sun was in the perfect spot, and I couldn’t resist capturing a few images. One of them even made it onto the architectural photography page on my website—take a look if you fancy seeing more.

You often hear “they don’t build them like they used to,” but this extension proves otherwise. The design and materials are on another level. As a proud Leicester lad, I wanted to share this personal shoot here too.

The auto responder has been switched off. Sob.

We've just returned from a family holiday in Agadir, Morocco at the Waves Founty Beach hotel.

Hands down, it had the best food and service we've ever had at an all inclusive. The staff were all SO friendly and the Moroccan section of the buffet was delicious. I'm going to struggle to eat anything ever again without a thin sliver of pickled lemon!

Morocco charmed the pants off me. The vibe and the people were so welcoming.

I needed a change of scenery from my hotel room and a break from editing, so headed out for a stroll around Liverpool’s Royal Albert Dock—then came straight back to the hotel room to edit the images. Typical.

Liverpool is always special, and you can really feel its history. The lighting at sunset was tricky, so black and white felt like the right way to go.

A few days ahead: tomorrow is a 14-hour shoot including a conference, exhibition, and gala dinner, then off to London on Thursday for a huge event featuring twenty-eight Michelin-star chefs. It's going to be mega!

Early night now—if everyone stops banging the hotel doors…

Taking a moment to reintroduce myself - this is the current version of me!

With four Teams meetings today, I thought it was the perfect excuse to trim my beard, strategically do my hair, and throw on my favourite sweater. While I was at it, I set up a light in the kitchen, grabbed a stool, and asked my son to take a few shots. This one was the best of the bunch.

I hope it gives the right vibe and doesn’t make it look like I take myself too seriously - because I don’t. I resisted the temptation to smooth out a few wrinkles, as they’re a sign of the experience I bring to the table.
