Our first wedding of the year is early March and we just can’t wait to get started!
We have lots of spring weddings this year and we have planted our own spring bulbs 🌷of Narcissus, Grape Hyacinths and Tulips! The varieties we have chose are some money can’t buy cut flowers so we are hoping that we have some to use for our weddings. We have some of our early bulbs already poking through 🤭
We love this years wedding trends include; classic, luxurious fabrics, natural flowing hair, glowing makeup, tuxedos, natural flowers in one colour dimension or maybe in contrast bright and bold seasonal bouquets, photos capturing motion pictures and sharing artistic deserts for cakes!

Thank You to all our followers and supporters for another wonderful year of floristry. We have enjoyed making flower wedding dreams come true, encouraging others to create beautiful things with flowers, working together as friends and supporting some amazing animal rescue charities!
This has to be one of my favourite photos of a wonderful wedding celebration 🥳
Next Year 2025 we look forward to lots and lots of spring weddings to start us off, seeing our own home grown flowers 🌷 pop up, creating new flower installation pieces, collecting gorgeous flowers from hall, planning and arranging workshops and meeting new bride/groom teams to create some more dream flowers!

Haven’t had a chance to make a wreath yet!!?
It’s not too late, we are at the Badgers Sett in Cropston this Sunday 8th December and we have some availability at 12.30 or 3pm!

We did it!! our first charity wreath workshop!
Thank you so much ☺️ we are so pleased that we raised £700 shared between and from our charity wreath making workshop!
It was a lovely relaxed session and Eddie made an appearance at the end to show his appreciation for the monies raised for his friends 🐶 🐈‍⬛ ❤️ Super proud of him, he was so well behaved!
The charities are so grateful! Thank you 🙏
We will be doing another workshop for charity in the spring!

Last August we made flowers for Emelia and Aaron’s Tipi wedding, we loved it. E&A gave us a brief of invitation they had designed with beautiful burgundy’s, oranges and teals in seasonal flowers. It was a lovely brief and we enjoyed making bridal flowers, decorating the tipi with flower pillars, a flower cloud and bottles and jars filled with flowers!
E & A recently got in touch to share some more photos and again say how happy they were with the flowers we made 🥰

I don’t think we will ever forget making this beautiful end of ceremony aisle installation piece; the colours, the seasonal flowers just looked so enchanting!
The excitement of making these statement pieces from a vision or idea and seeing them come together is one of the best things of doing wedding flowers.
We are really excited to be back next year in the spring and we will be creating another installation piece!

We just can’t get enough of the Autumn colours, the tones of toffee, caramel and rust colours are just so beautiful at any time of year!
This was actually a spring wedding 2024 and we decorated the front entrance to the hall with flower pillars which looked stunning. We spent a fair bit of time putting this beauty together and we will show you in our story how it took shape!
Two of our favourite flowers we used for this wedding were VIP double caramel tulips that opened so beautifully and toffee roses; the colour is just something else and so unusual! Next week we have two autumn weddings and can’t wait to show you the bouquets!

Floral pastels in the Cotswolds for C & D’s wedding in the spring was a dream to do, we used the most gorgeous David Austen garden roses, ranunculus, daisies and eucalyptus.
We created elegant floral pillars, decorated the aisle with fresh flower bunches in the ceremony area and added fresh flowers to reception areas. Handpicked flowers were added to bottles for the wedding breakfast and finally we decorated the fabulous cake! The colours were pastel heaven!

We feel so lucky to be a part of Kat and Liam’s wedding, we had a wonderful time making their natural, rustic and wild flower style wedding flowers.
The ceremony area was breathtaking, we were given a free hand to add colour to the cloud if we felt it would work and well we went for it adding so many different wild flowers! We truly enjoyed making them and hopefully it shows!

Last Christmas our little Eddie🐶 who you may often see in our stories arrived from and he was the best present we could have ever wished for, our first pup as a couple and he very quickly became part of our ‘stranger things’ family together with Barb and Dustin 🐈‍⬛ 🐈
Eddie was going to be Asher from Help Bulgaria Street Cats and Dogs. Whilst waiting for a flight at Heathrow airport, we made a very quick decision Asher was coming to live with us and paid the deposit before boarding our flight. Sadly Asher passed away of Parvo before arriving with us something common in young pups. We were determined to give a rescue dog a wonderful home and we then secured Eddie from Luckys!

… So it seems fitting that since Eddie arrived at Christmas 🎄 we do a Wreath Workshop in aid of Lucky’s Legacy Rescue and Help Bulgaria Street Cats and Dogs!

When: Tuesday 26th November 2024
Time: 6.30pm to 8.30pm
Where: The Navigation Inn Barrow Upon Soar
Cost: £55pp

We will have lots of Christmassy materials for you to use to make a wreath from mossing a wreath ring, to adding seasonal and fragrant foliage to choosing your decorations to make it personal to you.

If you don’t want it as a door wreath it would make a great festive centrepiece with some candles.

The workshop will include a glass of prosecco or an alternative soft drink.

No experience required as we will show you how and all the materials you will need are provided.

For this workshop we will be donating the floristry proceeds to Lucky’s Legacy Rescue and Help Bulgaria Street Dogs and Cats. Eddie our rescue dog is from Lucky’s and these are two very in need charities who devote their lives to helping dogs and cats. We are extremely Lucky to have Eddie and we hope to help more of his friends get their forever homes!

Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Sturland 💍 who got married who got married in July!
A great colour choice of dusky pink, ivory and sage green and we were able to pick the best seasonal flowers including roses, sweet peas and astilbe.
The photos look amazing and captured the emotions of the day perfectly. Thanks so much for sharing them with us!

Apologies for the use of the C word but we have had so many requests about booking our Christmas Wreath Workshops!
Our Leicester Botanical workshops are now live on our website for you to book on to!
When? Saturday 30th November and Sunday 1st December
Where: Beaumont House, Stoughton Drive South Oadby, Leicester
Times? 10.30am and 1.30pm slots available for each date.
How long is the session? 1.5 to 2 hours
Cost? £55 per person
What can we expect? A lovely day spent making a gorgeous wreath for your door or a as table display!
Experience? No experience required just come along and we will show you how and you will leave with a beautiful wreath!
Who can come? everyone is welcome, we have family traditions, friends, people come on their own it’s just a fun workshops.
What to expect? Lots of christmassy materials, we try and change it up each year. Lots of cake and hot drinks all overlooking the botanical gardens
Who runs the session? Kathryn and Vanisha, we are two good friends, very experienced in wreath making and love to put on a good enjoyable workshop!

We just love a wild flower bouquet, we have a colour palette to work with and for Sian and Jack it was Dusky orange, peaches, ivory and hint of burgundy with greenery. We used dahlias, scabious, cosmos, snaps, roses to name but a few flowers. Thanks to for supplying and hand picking wonderful flowers grown in their walled garden, each flower is beautiful.
We are delving into creating a small flower cutting patch in the beauty and the rose garden, be lovely to see what we can grow! keep you posted.

Let’s talk about caramel tulips and toffee roses for this weekends wedding bouquet for Rebecca and Andrew. . Most gorgeous combination of flowers with ivory roses, shades of beige garden roses and butterfly ranunculus! So enjoyed using each and every flower.
