What the cost of posting and the waste of paper Moira and I decided that this year we would not be sending all our usual batch of Christmas cards. Please don't feel left out or offended, we're donating to the foodbank instead.

At Christmas there’s a lot of pressure to be perfect and have it all. We see adverts showing happy families in matching PJ’s, having fun, opening lots of gifts, eating beautifully cooked food.

Nobody is having a drunken row, struggling with life, debt or feeling lonely in these adverts. It could be your first year without a beloved family member or friend, or too many years.

This can be the hardest time of year for many people.

The Samaritans have a free number - 116 123 (UK). They are there 24x7 and want to help anyone in need.

Remember it's ok not to be ok

Following the success of our first Sunday Vibes afternoon at Queniborough Members Club in April, we are pleased to announce that we are hosting another Sunday Vibes afternoon at the club. It will be the same relaxed music and family event as the first. The date for the long awaited afternoon of music is Sunday, September 17th, 3.00 - 6.00pm

Puss in Boots went down well tonight in your Village Hall. Children absolutely enthralled by the big screen.

Really fantastic evening at Queniborough Village Hall.
MATILDA THE MUSICAL on the new big screen was a great success.
There were lots of families with young children which really made the evening.
So, thanks all for coming, thanks to the Village Hall team for getting it all off the ground and also to the team that put the show on this evening.
Look out for questionnaires on Facebook and Queniborough online so that you can help us choose films to entertain you.
